They are genuine... Infact I assessed the page before printing out the result for submission, and my school also verified the result before including it in my CAS
Yes YOU checked them, but if UKBA could not that might be your problem.

Very educative thread.

Just submitted my Visa application at TP, Abuja on 29th Sept.

My application on their site shows received by UKVI.

Is there anyone here going to the UK to study on the Agip/Eni 2014 Scholarship or anyone who has benefited from same in the past?

I'm kinda worried and anxious about vfs Ikeja runz. I got My approval mail on Monday and I'm hoping to collect My passport on Thursday but the current situation there is worrisome as people that got approval mail last Thursday and Friday are yet to get their passport. I've already booked My flight to London for Friday. Please What can I do? Lectures has already started in My department at UCL.
I don't know the way they handle their stuff. Please, is there any hope of me getting it on thursday? Is there a possibility My documents will arrive with the people Dat got the mail last week? I'm so worried and troubled

sorry about the denial,i dont think in my own opinion you need a review, applying will make the whole process faster.
1-The first mistake you did was not sending UKBA your result via PTE online portal where you also accessed your result from,PTE is sent to UKBA online first then also a printed copy attached to your application so do this in the next application.

2-As you have stated your reason for being a genuine student as against what they think, write out all your points and your educational path and also why you are undertaking a different course after your degree.
this should help you and i am most certain the visa will be granted this time, this 2 points they raised is not a big of an issue its what you can counter them on.so apply again, send your PTE result to UKBA online first then print and attach a copy in your application then write a comprehensive reason why you are a genuine student.

wish you all the luck

Obviously nobody can accurately answer that but if Im in your position I will go there again today to check again. Friday is just 2 days now and you don't have the time again.

Also, if you go there on thursday and it's not yet out, contact your airline immediately and reschedule your flight

That seems to be the case but first of all you need to check the last page of your refusal letter to see if you are given full right of appeal or limited right of appeal

There is nothing like non-appearance for student visa, you will be called for an interview and there is nothing scaring about it.

Hi,
I have the info from the link and from my understanding, if we are to apply together all at once, we all benefit from the established presence. This is explicit and clear. However, if am to extend my visa in the UK and apply later for my family, it "suggests" that they will benefit from my established presence. This seem ambiguous to me.

Do you know of anyone that has recently used this process and succeeded?

Read this link from 59 https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/324611/DEP_guidance_07-14.pdf

It answers your questions and more.

I don't see anything ambiguous about that statement, it stated that they will benefit from your established presence. That is as clearer as it can get.

I sent my PTE result to UKBA but forgot to attach the print out to my applcation submitted last week(which currently reads received by UKVI for a decision). Should I be worried?

@Justwise @spikeC and all other bosses I dey hail wuna.

I just completed my MSc and asked to proceed for a PhD (which starts today 1st October). The visa I have is for my MSc which is still valid until January 2015. My intention was to return to Nigeria to apply for my new visa for the PhD in December along with my family since I learnt I can apply for a new visa before the current one lapses. But now, I heard there is a new policy which requires students finishing a course and starting a new one to apply for visa within six weeks of start of the new course.

you may wish to refer to the document below particularly paragraphs 350 - 352 on page 57 of 79 and addendum 3 on page 79 of 79 of the document:

You don't have any right of appeal, if you do it will be stated there. No issue of human right here.

As long as you still have a valid visa you can start your new course then apply for extension before your current visa expires. Get all your Phd admission documents and your maintenance money and apply for extension.
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by Amdan: 5:49pm On Oct 01, 2014
@amda

Yes you can apply for an extension even a day before your current visa expires, if you think that you read something different somewhere please give me the exact section of that new rule so as to verify.

Congrats again, DFavouredone.

I'm from the AGIP/ENI scholarship thread.
I hope to be leaving by this weekend for Cranfield, although I'm yet to collect my documents from the application center.

Since you applied @ Abuja, you shouldn't have any problems with unnecessary delays.

BTW, how come it took so long for those guys (AGIP) to contact you?
Do hope to hear from you, maybe by PM.

My Regards.

Please anyone who goes to TP VI today should let us know what is going on there. They appear not to be organised at all. Even when decisions have been made they do not update their website.

I contacted UKVI and I was informed that my application has been processed and enroute to the VAC. I believe that this should also be on the site for the purpose of tracking.

Again. TP does not respond to feedback on their site. I begin to wonder why they got the job in the first place.

Please if you want to make an application do not go to TP VI except if you want to buy your ticket expensive.

Anyone who gets information from them today should please let us know.

Happy Independence (although belated) to the gurus in the house - @Justwise, @Spikes, @thefavouredone : Good job! Blessings

Hello, my sister is applying from Nigeria to abt 3 schools in Uk for Msc and has been asked to forward her transcript. Now her Nigerian school wouldn't give her the main copy, they can only send it to her intended school, but she has a student copy of the one she had her school send to another Nigerian university earlier this year. Can she scan the student copy to the uk schools? Can she apply for ukba visa with the student copy?
Pls help.
