Choosing consensus candidate is very democratic, i mean it reduce tensure in politics, it gives room to better and trusted candidate in a party.

Truth is, PDP is the people's party in Ebonyi and their candidate is as good as the Governor already.
In 2007, I never heard of Elechi campaigning under PDP. Nobody saw his posters he never campaigned, he was never seen around, we heard of and went to Ogbuewu's rally/campaign. Other parties were making noise yet who emerged victorious and Ebonyi Governor? PDP candidate.

Ebonyi is fully a PDP state. I don't belong to any party, I'm neutral. I am only stating facts as they are, these are what I've observed in Ebonyi from my years of living there. I love that Onyebuchi guy as a Governor. No doubt he will perform well.
He is popular and watched closely, nationally and internationally, I doubt he would want to perform badly as a Governor under close observation. He has a good personality and is visioned.

Do not bring that ur Afikpo stu.pidity to this forum, Elechi is from Ikwo but he make sure that all the state feel his leadership.So,Onyebuchi is an Ebonyi man before Afikpo tin.
This is the more reason why Ebonyi south senatorial district is finding it difficult to govern the state. Too much triblistic is not the way forward.

Inasmuch as I want Onyebuchi to rule our young state but you can never underestimate the power of Ezza and Izzi in the politics of Ebonyi state.
