I've been with both animals and I can confidently tell you that a cat us way more neater than a dog. To your third question, yes... cats answer to their name if you train them from a tender age to do so. To the OP's question, if you've got the time, I would advise you to go for a dog, but if time isn't a friend of yours, then get a cat.

Yeah, Persians are all touchy touchy. . . but for the purposes of the OP's question, an American shorthair, British shorthair or the local mallam cat would do. Persians go for a lot here in Nigeria... infact, you rarely come across them here. Happy to meet a fellow lover of the feline specie.

if you come across cat breeds like Turkish angora, Persian, Napoleon, Turkish van, Ragdoll, Devon rex, Toyger, just to mention few. You gonna love dem!
i have just two kittens(5 months old)...they r so cute,luv em!!
Most cat breeds here r kinda ugly nd have wild faces.
that's a napoleon cat nd turkish van underneath.
you may find dem irritating,ugly....to me they are the best!!!


btw, do u knw turkish vans love to swim and play with water?
