shut your idiocy-laden mouth......Omo odun melo ni e? You children of nowadays just lump everything and everyone together just to butress your wrong but silly analogy

If you were born or matured in 83-85,you will not be using generalised statements that Buhari overthrew a democratically elected government which we all know not to be true. He was called to lead and he accepted owing to the monumental corruption of that time

Shagari could not be bothered despite all the noise of people and the fact that the economy was going to ruins then, his ministers and everyone that had anything to do with Government were patently corrupt and living in wanton opulence

Even Chief Obafemi Awolowo wrote a lengthty letter to warn Shagari of the dire consequence of his see-no-evil and do-no-evil approach but they called him a frustrated old man and ridiculed his offer of help

Fast forward to this day,Corruption has taken a life of its own.......even with the clueless President saying ordinary stealing is not corruption!

We know those who destroyed Nigeria,Buhari is not among by any shred of imagination....

Thank you for reminding these kids born 16 years ago about what happened between 1983 and 1985. The government before Buhari was so corrupt just like we have today and he came to rescue us from their hands and instill discipline in the heart of Nigerians. That was the regime secretaries and civil servants would report you to the police for trying to bribe them. The regime where both the giver and the receiver were guilty of the offence. But kids today never tasted that they were born during the corrupt babangida or Abacha's regime. So they think it is normal to be corrupt and that Nigeria had always been like this. They also feel because old people like Obasanjo failed Buhari will also fail.

Buhari is different. He identifies himself with ordinary men. He introduced Price control just for the ordinary man to afford bread and sugar because the government before him was almost wiping out the common man. He brought in different measures that stabilized the country.

Buhari has just finished Jonathan.

Hear him :- “I want to pay tribute to Nigerians who are enduring all sorts of hardship and degradations on a daily basis,” Buhari said.

“Many are grappling with extreme poverty and barely eking out a living.

Nigeria, in my experience, has never been so divided, so polarised by an unthinking government, hellbent on ruling and stealing.

The economy continues to deteriorate while the Government continues to announce fantastic growth figures. Simply because you sell oil and steal part of the money does not entitle you to cook figures and announce phantom economic growth.

When PDP came to power in 1999 Nigeria was generating about 4,000 M/W of electricity. After 15 years and $20 billion spent we are generating between 3,000 – 4,000 M/W. No failure is more glaring than this.

The rest of the world looks at Nigeria as the home of corruption. Nigeria is a country where stealing is not corruption.

Obinoscopy,I am thanking you for the second time and I hope the thread is not moved again. At least you have a listening heart unllike your boss who shamelessly dropped a stoopid comment to defend himself and left the thread shamefully. Please teach him how to be unbiased and impartial. He has a lot to learn from you.

Is there a difference between both of them? I doubt it.

I wonder how Nigeria can regain her lost glory with the type of youths we say are the leaders of tomorrow.

Shameful!

stumble on this now on Fb, and thot of sharing it

Olusola Opeyemi Abiodun wrote

We were the ones who stood in the sun in #2009, demanding that Mr. Jonathan should be installed as the acting President when late Yar'adua was sick and ifwe could went to the poll in 2011 just to voted forhim out of sentiment when our friends were sleeping then (even when he did not justify his first 2years in office), I think we have the responsibility to speak out on behalf of humanity this time around.

No serious nation in the world deserves this practically non-existent government
"I have served you in several capacity, I have never touched a kobo out of your money...Let me deliver your land from Cabals” - #OldMan (2011)

We are good as we are. Let us keep on hoping on nothingness just like our forefathers. One day, these rogues will repent on their own accord. We do not need you, clean #OldMan" - Cheated and looted Nigerians
Today Majority of Local Government Chairmen in your state are youths. Same with Members of House of Assembly. Some of your Governors, Ministers and Commissioners are below 50; please, can anyone tell me what they're doing?

Serious-minded people are saying, "Vote for a man that will deliver your land from the hands of terrible and strong cabals and bring home the bacon, the same cheated and looted citizens are saying, he`s old, he`s this, he`s that.

A man that ruled as a young man and never take your Kobo, is it now that he would rule and accumulate?
A man that ruled as a military and pulled out of OIC, bound some radical Islamic groups, and never took a step that portrayed him as an extremist, is it now under a democratic government that he will perpetrate any religious agenda? All these propaganda are being propagated by Cabals who never want the end of their evil domineering. I personally think that the looted and cheated Nigerians need to think!

Virtually all the Cabals are against this man in order to keep looting, the looted are also being blinded. Gosh!
Anyway, Lincoln failed severally b4 he became one of d best US President and if this man could make it to that throne then cheated and looted Nigerians are made

It is not Buhari's fault that your Progenitors, uncles, friends and yourself all refused to offer yourselves to salvage the country

As at today, there are over 30 political parties in Nigeria and i believe some of them will even offer you and all the aforementioned categories of people their Presidential tickets for FREE

So rather than rant about a man whose shoes you are not even fit to carry over his age,i urge you please to get one of the tickets since you are full of ideas and creativity and contest again Buhari and Jonathan
YOU WILL BE CRYING SOON MY FRIEND, YOU WILL BOTH BE CRYING SOON.

Buhari's legacy as an unapologetic coup plotter that dethroned a democratically elected government of Shagari will not be forgotten, neither will it be forgiven.

Buhari truncated a democratically elected government, and today, he declares to be elected by Nigerian masses to Presidency, a position he held with wanton inhibition of freedom, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.

Buhari, nailed his political coffin, when he admonished Muslims to vote only for people who can defend their faith. That makes Buhari a biased Muslim. I have great muslim friends, and they are not biased, but Buhari, is unrepentant and unforgivable in his defense of Sharia, which has emboldened the Boko Muslim Boys in the Sambisa forest.

Let us not also forget the famous 'Monkeys and Baboons will soak in blood anthem'. This again, emboldened the almajiri boys who metamorphosed to Boko Haram.

How can I forget age ? Any young man voting Buhari will NOT be forgiven by me, because we continually hear that Youth are the leaders of tomorrow, yet Buhari in his 70s doesnt wanna give the youth a chance. When will the Youth ever have a chance, if this aged Buhari is so selfish not to give us a chance ?

Buhari, with due respect, you will NEVER be President of Nigeria AGAIN. You had your chance, and you ruined it.

Brouhaha!

If you were old enough you will know that Shagari regime deserved to be overthrown. In fact, the sacking of that regime arrested the downward slope the Nigeria economy was subjected to by the looting of that useless regime. That was a coup that was celebrated by old and young alike.

And what has the "young" leaders brought to us? Suffering and ssorrow.
Think GEJ, think Bankole, think Odua, think Alams, think Ibori, etc.

If you were clever enough, you will know that age alone does not do it but the will and ability to do it.

Bwahahahahaha!!! grin grin

I was very little when Buhari was the Head of State but i still remember the discipline that was everywhere during his reign. upper iweka was always swept so clean then that u can comfortable eat sitting near the gutters that used to be filled with dirt and other unimaginable before buhari's government!

i am an ardent and die-hard supporter of GMB cause i know he has the best interest for Nigeria at heart! I have contributed immensely to his campaign and will continue to contribute my widows mite both physically and financially.

Buhari has a large database of closet igbo supporters whose vote can catapult him to Aso Rock if not for mago-mago - quote me anywhere!

I know he can fix this mess we find ourselves in. He can kill corruption - He can fix Nigeria at least 60% and that is a credit in my dictionary.

Classic APC mentality. So you feel that Shagari's government was useless, and that a useless government has to be overtaken by coup detat. Are you serious ? Is that the manifesto of APC and Buhari by extension ? I hope its just your myopic opinion.

There are young people who have spearheaded progress in Nigeria polity. Godswill Akpabio, Fashola, Nuhu Ribadu, Charles Soludo, just to mention but a few. Why will anyone vote for Buhari, who knows nothing about 21st century ?

I will say it again; Buhari, will NEVER be President of Nigeria. Mark my word.
