Nah, most girls prefer the hard, unvarnished truth to the shucking & jiving BS that some guys think lessens the drama. I don't know how many times I've heard girls say they wish guys would just come out & say that they are either 1) not interested OR 2) met someone else etc. That girls prefer a softer approach is all in yall's heads. I too would have so much respect for a man that's a straight shooter & to the point to a dude that keeps shilly shallying wasting my time with flowery BS. Shootinj to the hip = less bytch fits because the picture is clear & noone is being strung along. What frustrates girls the most is not knowing where they stand, especially when guys start dishing out the hot & cold treatment to avoid saying what they truly feel. IMO, men are the ones that fear emotional confrontations or emotional honesty for whatever reason. They'd rather bury their heads in the proverbial sand, hoping the girl would just vanish/get a clue that they are not into her or whatever the case might be.

TELL HER STRAIGHT UP & IF SHE ACTS WEIRD AFTER THAT, GET A RESTRAINING ORDER. Finish & klaar.
Hmmn, so ladies prefer the normal blunt----- 'I am not interested' ? And here I was thinking the best way to do it is to say iam not interested, but at the same time make her not feel bad or CHEAP. Yes cheap!! Cos you ll be amazed at how women reason atimes. I can authoritatively tell you that most ladies will feel Cheap if a guy rejects them, not to even mention doing it bluntly like you said. It might even kill some.

Guys know how to handle rejection better cos its kinda normal---why? The society, esp the african society is socially engineered in such a way that its felt its a guys job to chase after the woman, but not all women will agree to date cos some guys can be overly ambitious with the number of women they chase or the quality of the woman in question, so rejection is bound to happen AND like they say---- experience is the best Teacher. Guys get used to it over time.

But women's case is different. Only a few, ,inshort only a fingerfull will have the courage to walk up to a guy and tell him how they feel ,and alot of planning/pep talk normally goes into it. So thats why I feel your choice of words as a guy should be on-point to avoid stories that touch. As a matter of fact, ive seen women swear to never approach a guy the like. They ll rather die in silence----- why? It brings us back to my whole point. WOMEN CANT HANDLE REJECTION! !

Now, if women cant handle rejection in the first place, wouldnt it be wise to do it carefully/cautiously if you are to reject them? Bella, you might be diff on how you want a guy to say it to your face and all that but from my observation, most women cant handle it. And did I also mention that once a woman approachs and you dont say YES, thas rejection in her books? grin . That brings us to my other point.

Women are allowed to think about it when a guy approachs them AND that automatically means you dont know where you stand. Same goes for men too. Sometimes we too want to think about it but you dont expect us to say----ok! Let me think about it grin. The problem boils from the fact women are impatient.

The fact they mustered the courage to approach a guy which they feel should be the other way round means he must give an instant YES OR NO answer. ##yimu##

Lol. Lets not even talk of emotional honesty. Ever heard of ---- These h**s aint loyal. ?

Sammie and Idris sitting in a corner and talking.

After some digging from Idris, Sammie indicates that she caught signals between Idris and JJ and she was disappointed that Idris could take part in making her uncomfortable.

He apologises and says JJ had been hoping biggie would not pair him up with Sam and biggie did exactly that which was why they exchanged eye signals.

Conversation leads into Goitse and Idris and Sam tells Idris that she thinks he is allowing himself to be pulled back into Goitse's game. Says its not relayer business but as a friend, feels obliged to warn him. She says she sees her friendship with him as extending beyond the house and is probably the only she will stick up for in the house.

Gives an example of how someone said Sammie was friends with everybody and 265 indicated she had a special friendship with Idris which surprised Tayo. Tayo then asked how she was good friends with the stupid boy and she told him that Idris might be stupid to Tayo but on getting to know him, was not stupid to her. She says 265 winked at her for standing up for Idris. Idris wonders if Tayo was serious and she said he was.

Idris now goes on to report how he tried protecting Ella from making a fool of herself when she got drunk the previous night but only got told off by the same Ella. Says he is not talking to her.

Now Butti Butti has come to butt in though she did ask politely if they were having a deep conversation or not.

Samantha will be Idris' downfall if he's not careful. Why will she be warning him off Goitse? Is she feeling threatened? Is he so much of a wuss that he'll need her to stand up for him? She's just looking to instigate and cause conflict, Perming lotion had her here- she throws a stone in a river just to watch it ripple

I dislike Samantha as much as the other person but let us not act like she has done worse than tayo simply because he is our rep......tayo has gossiped too, even nominated his two closest female friends in the house, but of course he gets a pass.....this is a reality show and the reality is that tayo and Samantha are two very opinionated people, they speak their mind without giving a Bleep what anyone thinks and that is probably why there won't be any samayo anytime soon, they are too much like each other only that Samantha is more discreet and mature( plus she ain't Nigerian).

when where and who did tayo gossip about? tayo is everything but a gossip. No even go there at all. except its another big bro u are watching or u just trying to be mischievous.

And point of correction. Sam is not opinionated but an instigator. There is a huge difference

As ridiculous as this might sound I think the money is between tayo and Ellah
Reason 1 ..Tanzania has won before ,if they decide to go with east Africa ,I think they would pick Uganda over Tanzania
Reason 2.....Esther got the Ugandan vote and it was given to Ella, biggie probably has a reason for doing that.
Reason 3.......idris is burning more bridges than Ella(JJ goitse Nig Ghana) I think these countries will vote Ella over him.

News: The Untouchables

Taking it easy, Samantha and Idris tucked themselves away into a corner for a chat. She was upset about the "funny looks" he and JJ had been giving one another when she was around. Idris assured her they were friends and she confessed she trusted him above all others. She added that she would never speak about him behind his back, like she claimed other people did, saying Tayo had called him stupid.

Idris, however, was not fazed and huffed and puffed about his frustration with Ellah instead, offended over the way she had treated him the night before. Having tried to console her, she did nothing more than tell him off. Samantha told him to go easy on her, because she had been drunk, but he said that was no excuse ? he was tired of taking care of people who only gave him a hard time in return. Samantha pointed out “the less we become, the more drama there is.

Macky2 and Butterphly joined the conversation and it steered dangerously into the wrong territory as they spoke about nominations, but they managed to avoid the pitfall of breaking Biggie's rules. They lamented the hard time people gave Frankie, saying they thought he was such a chilled person. Was last night's incident between Ellah and Frankie still on their mind?

A new term also cropped up, as Butterphly referred to "the untouchables", explaining that they were the people in the house who could do anything wrong without being held accountable. Idris, she felt, was often used as a scapegoat. She did not name any names though. Maybe she will reveal something to Biggie in the diary room?
Who do you thing are "The Untouchables" being referred to here?

Samantha confronts people in their faces, she has done it with JJ and even tayo......she is not the type to bite her tonque and then talk shit at your back.
And I should be asking you which big brother you are watching cos three days ago tayo and mam Bea went into a deep and long gossip session .....they diasected all the housemates and even gave their two cents about idris and goitse......You might think he is not a gossip because he spins the same beat in people's faces too.....but in my opinion anything said when that person is not present ( esp negative things) is gossip .

Sam was no longer his friend when he nominated her. He caught her gossiping about him and since then they've stayed away from each other. Once he caught her gossiping about him they both knew the friendship was over. So he owed her nothing , he told big brother she promised to be loyal o him but back stabbed him. They are no longer friends
Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by Nobody: 2:27pm On Nov 06, 2014
By the way no she doesn't tell people to their face, she's never had the guts to tell Tayo to his face most of what she says behind his back. It was only when he caught her gossiping about him that he got to know she has anything against him
