Ex-AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf has blasted Man United boss Louis van Gaal claiming that the veteran manager isn’t a man of his word and treats his players poorly.

Van Gaal and Seedorf worked together first at Ajax back in the mid 90′s as the Dutch side went on to win the Champions League in 1995, but the pair came at loggerheads when Van Gaal took Seedorf off just after half-time in the final.

Speaking to reporters, Seedorf criticised the Man United boss: “The man I had come to know as a man of his word turned out to be something else entirely. Because of the way he treats people, he has lost all credibility in my eyes.”

After clashing at Ajax, the pair were forced to work each other once again as Van Gaal took charge of the Netherlands unsuccessful World Cup 2002 qualifying campaign.

Since the two last worked together, Seedorf has gone on to win the Champions League two more times, as well as take over at AC Milan for a brief period only to be replaced by Filippo Inzaghi.

Van Gaal who is notorious for dressing room bust-ups with his players will be more focused on taking charge of Man United against Arsenal this weekend, as they look to cope without Blind and De Gea.

He approaches matches with too much patience thereby causing less pressure to the opponents in the early part of matches. How does he usually intend to recover the wasted time playing slowly in the midfield? A similar approach almost cost us in group stage of the nations cup against Ethiopia. We have Victor Moses to thank for that qualification into quarter final.
