[b]true talk, av neva seen kumuyi speak in tongues on the pulpit sef, y? The bible says 4 dose hu speak in tongues, there should be interpretation... Moreso speaking in tongues means talking in another language nt saying trash.. E.g Maybe a nigerian finds himsely over here in FRANCE, nd doesnt knw aw to speak french,then D spirit of God can inspire him to speak french which invariably means speaking in tongues..the speaker imself might nt understand..
Finally, itz d FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT that take someone to heaven nt GIFTS. Xo if u can teach,prophesy,sing and u lack love,joy,peace,faith,temperance etc you'r nt fit 4 heaven.

Whether u speak or not ur ultimate goal is not to make heaven but to advance the kingdom of God here on earth. Remember, blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth, also, another part of the Bible said: the earth wasn't created to be empty but to be inhabited. Always keep this in mind, heaven is just for a while we shall return back to earth that was created for us after the tribulations.

pls read rev 20:4-6 the Bible actually say we shall reign (rule) with christ for the first 1000yrs in which Satan was in the bottoless pit before his release. By then, Jerusalem will be the world's head quarters and the nation of the world will report directly to the HQ and any nation that wud not accept Christ authority will be severely punished. Those with the knowledge that everybody who speak in tongues are just making it up; and those who think that they are the only ones making it up. then its either your salvation is "questionable" or.......... Because if you are born again "genuenely" you will experience what I just said and that will mean you are baptized with the evidence of speaking in tongues. If you have the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD in you then speking in tongues will follow AUTOMATICALLY.

That is why @funjosh I asked if you are born-again because if you genuienely are, then speaking in tongues will follow suit. Many new converts don't understand this fact, but when ever they have their quiet time, they notice their mouth shaking uncontrollably even though they have little faith to realize that it is baptism of the HOLY GHOST. Now once you posses the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, this will follow suit "NATURALLY"
