Di Maria's best option was to round the goalkeeper but shit happens. Wenger substitution of Wilshere for Carzola was a big relief for Carrick and the central back. With Wilshere out, the foot had been taken off the gas for speed. United defence line didn't have to give room for Giroud's goal. Careless goal to concede. At such a circumstance the defence was expected to play close to the goalkeeper.

elampiro u see Rooney ??

D guy try today...

It was a nice play from him. Despite overall poor team work, he got away with high pass accuracy with many passes. He kept the ball well. Rooney and Di Maria reminded us of United of those days we killed from the counter with Rooney, Ronaldo championing those attacks. Sometimes we got JS Park and Nani involved too.

He should give us consistent performances like this. He could easily have gotten 1 goal and 2 assists from the counters. He took out a player in our box, took out another in our 3rd before setting Di Maria free with the goalkeeper. That was his best part of the game. Another player would have cleared the ball away in panic. Also, he was set to give an assist to RVP before the linesman wrongly called him back.

Good counter attacking football from Di Maria and Rooney. DDG had an excellent day. I wonder why no one follow up with DDG in case he vomits a shot. What's wrong with our defenders.

We were shaking with three at the back. I don't agree we lacked defenders. We started that match with 5 defenders (when you add Valencia). We are yet to settle to a pattern, although this is not the coach's fault. Injuries to players and the decision to add some physicality in the middle has changed the formation and tactics. No one can tell how things would be if we were to play Herrera instead of Fellaini. Fellaini is having a field day with aerial balls in the middle of the park.

sure......DDG to me was man of d match..
D good news is Falcao is back,Van persie didnt rily impress me,he had 12touches on saturday..

McNair,i just love his composure and d way he zooms forward with the ball on his feet..
Smalling really impressed me..

And to think we played 2 Rookies at d defence yet Arsnal cudnt get a breakthrough

Next game at home i hope Falcao plays even if he dsnt start cos we dnt really knw how fit he is though he said he is 100% fit...hope to See Rafael and Jones on the field soon

Luke Shaw is a big shortage when we have to revert to playing four at the back. We are not lucky. May be the second half of the season will be bright for us. Imagine Shaw and Rafael at full back and some consistency in the middle back.

Mc Nair has started 4 matches and we have won all of them. Van Persie seems to have settled to an inbox player. When balls are not coming in a lot, he wouldn't be seen much. Like a Chicharito kind of game. I think he should play the way Wilson plays. Do some take on from the deep or 30 yards. Be more involved.

Falcao's return would mean Gaal will have to sacrifice another player. May be Young goes back to the bench. It looks to me Di Maria is not happy playing wide and Gaal has decided to bring him to the middle. That is some trouble for the coach. He has to work out a formation to get everyone going.

That's the lack of experience and leadership at the back I'm talking about.

At 2 nil with little time left, what's the need of the CB moving forward and creating such huge space between them and De Gea.

The removal of Wilshere and introduction of Cazorla was a blessing. cool

We have got a young defence. It depends now if Gaal would keep faith with it. If we keep bringing in players, we would end up losing some players who will be great in the future for rival clubs. I am yet to see how we will keep Janujaz, Mata, Herrera/Fellaini and Young/Valencia. Nani still has to return. Should Vidal/Strootman arrive, Blind joins the fight for space at the back four. Jones, Smalling, Rojo, Evans, Shawn, McNair, Blacket are fighting for just three slots. With Blind pushed backwards, there will be 8 defenders fighting for 3 positions.

Yes, we've numbers but where are they? Being always injured is also being not up to the standard reqd(same with poor performance). We should free at least one of Evans/Smalling/Jones(we've given them enough chance which no other top teams would have done) and get an experienced defender with leadership skills for these young defenders. How can a club like United that had Vidic and Rio be depending on McNair and Blackett?. We also need a RB cos Rafael's injury is another pain in the @ss

I was reading an article from dailymail about the whooping sum United pay weekly to players on the sick bed. It's just abysmal.

Deadwoods in this team like Fletcher, Young, defenders, etc should be kicked out.

There's nothing to say that hasn't already been said.

Manyoo are playing rubbish football. Even your own fans admit this.

However the most important thing in football is the 3 points and not football aesthetics. And so far Manyoo are copping dem points.

Only a fool argues against the 3 points...

That said, I do believe you guys are riding your luck, and luck inevitably always runs out

we are riding our luck by being unable to put out same line up for two consecutive weeks due to injuries? genius!

hopefully, Chelshit shares in this glorious luck very soon bro.

we played poorly in the game against arsenal doesn't equate Man UTD have been playing rubbish, we have certainly played better than about 75% of our opponents this season

Off course we acknowledge that our football can be better than what we are serving and if its luck that has gotten us to the fourth position especially with the amount of injuries that has characterised our season, then wait and see when we finally have fit players and play like the Man U everyone knows we are.

Chelsea is soaring high at the moment, sooner a bumpy run will come and we will see how you will cope.

We will soon unleash Falcao on the unfortunate teams we meet soon.

i want to see chelsea without their first choice defenders - we have played 3 of the top four teams and we lost only one of them & smalling's red card contributed to that loss.

we outplayed chelsea @ OT & we destroyed arsenal on their home soil. we are now 4th on the table. a position moyes never managed throughout his career. give credits where it's due........we are a much better side than last year.

so what do you call someone that argues against LVG?

of course, united always ride their luck when they do well. chelsea - who have been useless at times this season & saved by the referee with dubious penalty claims haven't ridden their club at all. where was this luck when moyes was here?

Maybe why LvG said it's now gonna take 3yrs for the players to start playing according to his philosophy on the pitch.

He wants to focus mainly now on coping 3pts by every means possible.

perhaps... there are no frailties!
we have played chelsea, arsënal & city(10 men for over 60 mins) and all they could manage was a goal in each of those games.

ok, moving on......

this is another evidence that hazard's dribbling is worthless like i was telling you the other day. see his take-ons(dribbling).....see the low number of key passes or chances he's creating with them.

it's fair to say hazard's dribblings have no end product. he's the least creative amongst his peers in the premier league.
