My closest friend who happens to be female has been in a serious relationship with a guy for over three years now. The relationship has gone through a lot during this period but their love for each other keeps on waxing stronger over the years. Now the problem is that the guy has remained jobless for over 4 years since he graduated from school and things are not looking likely to change soon. My friend by the way, is also a graduate although she isn't also working as yet. Although this guy has been a loving and caring partner to her and he has already professed his willingness to marry her, she is beginning to have second thoughts. Should she still take this relationship seriously? The guy still lives with his parent and lacks the ability to make decisions on his own as his parents dictate virtually everything for him. Feeling seriously troubled within herself, she came to me to seek for advice but I really couldn't her give any as I have little knowledge on things like romance or relationships. Then I remembered.....thank goodness! We have a lotta matured mind on this forum that can help her out. So if you were in her shoes or she happens to be your sister or friend, would you advise her to still marry him or not?? |

Did Nairalanders' opinions count when the love was born and or while it was growing? Why do people post nonsense here? |

Since naira land men like nothing more than for a woman to stick it out with broke men, I will advice her to sit thight and wait for him. If she leaves after 10 years of waiten sef, he will come here and complain about how his babe did not see his potential and broke up their 10 yr relationship cos he did not have a job and 99% of nairaland boys will wash their mouths on her head. So, biko, ler her sray with him, for the sake of his potentials( as nairaland boys put it) |
