It has done on me that people have come to prioritise certain societal issues when it comes to having a successful and fulfilled lifestyle. However, there are two major institute which we are bound to categorise our life achievements solely Career and Marriage. Now in as much as this two is very important in the family which do you think should come first between Career & Marriage in a Family?. Please support your view with evidence and proof

For me building a career should come before marriage. Having a successful career guarantees a healthy societal balance and lifestyle.

Lets hear your views.

We have seen cases where a woman pursue her career until she's 30+ and ready to settle down while we have seem women get married by 18, give birth to all her kids and then focus on her career.

There is no manual about stuffs like this, you make the decision on your own and stick to whatever comes out of it.

I for one will prefer to get married, give birth to my kids and face my career!

Depends on individuals and what their goals are:

Some are not interested in a career or a family

I have always wanted to get a job/start a career before settling down, because I have this fear that married women are discriminated in Nigeria Job market as a result of pregnancy issues, etc...Who wants to employ a pregnant woman or someone who will get pregnant within few months of employment? . So for me, career first, then family. ..


But if work no come and my age is driving towards menopause, I go quickly marry ooo, can't lose on both sides

Life is dynamic!
No condition is permanent. . . .Career and family take turns to be priorities at different stages IN LIFE!
Bottom line. . . there must be a balance!

if you take career who go marry you? its not funny living single at 50 ask our actresses.

The two should work hand in hand. non should be left out as the two depend on each other. when you concentrate only on your career living your marriage aside, you'll have problem.
To me, while planing and pursuing your career, do the same for your marriage. most times, when you are doing so well in your carrier, when its time to get married, you may not know who truly love you just for who you are. the love could be just because of your successful career.
and when you pursue only marriage, you may end up in poverty. as marriage have so many responsibilities.
