I don't think it is a sin but the problem is that it ignites your sexual passion and could ultimately lead you to sex before marriage which you intended to avoid in the first place.

kissing nor s*x is NOT a sin. it is only a sin when its not ur husband or ur wife, which is fornication. Then another sin is adultery, which is a married man or woman kissing or sleeping with another person not his or her partner.

However, a perk or a kiss without intimacy isn't a sin. There are different types of kisses.

Therefore brethren, greet one another with a holy kiss..

By the way..all the people explaining, when you use kiss and sex in the same sentence, it means only one thing - intimacy.

Naturally there is a tendency for one to have sexual desires which is not wrong. What is wrong is acting on it outside God's intended plan (marriage)
