Also a proper nigerian woman doesn't believe in divorce even when things ar not really working in d relationship except for serious physical assaults( my coursin has three kids with three dft S.A ladies). D reasons for their break ups were baseless..u hear things like "yor baby u ar cheating, I called u 25 times, but u wldnt pick..baby I can't take dis any longer..am leaving.." and she parks her bag..
Domestic issues ar meant to b taken care of domestically.. U av a problem at home and d next thing is she calls d Police ..I pick up a whip and flog my own child and d next thing is the Police.. all dis ar western not african..

Thank you for clearing that up. It is true theres a culture Gap...especially when I listen to my father complain about many things have changed. Its hard to go back but one can only make better decisions and move on with life. I cant say that i wont call the police on my husband if he beats me...Im sorry but family meetings take too long and always favour the man.
