I keep hearing this arguement come up; that "sexuality is not a choice so we should practice whatever we feel". Let me be very clear that my position on the gay issue is a no no. However, i am not going to be militant in my opposition to what some call "acceptable alternative lifestyle". Back to the topic. I want to ask if i should go on ahead if i feel something for a relative who may not be within the kindred there could be problems if we had romance. People who fall genuinely in love with a relative do not choose to fall. They just say each other and there was a connection. These people could be within a kindred there wouldn't be problems if they had children together. But because they live in a culture that prohibits. |

I served in Akwa Ibom with this silly guy, even travelled from lagos to orientation camp in the same bus with him and I remember him to be one effeminate nuisance. Everyone just had to notice him all through the three weeks we were at camp. It was also the same year he proudly announced his 'gayness' on Funmi Iyanda's show.
