Lordabas: No one is born gay. God does not create abominations. God creates in perfection. Homosexuality is a sexual PREFERENCE. Preference means that they prefer to have sex with members of the same sex, as opposed to members of the opposite sex. A preference is a choice. Plain and simple. They claim to be born that way because it frees them from having to take the responsibility for being what they are.

Boland: Hey bro, if you must know, it concerns us... I will like to point out somethings here.... Laws and rules make Humans different from animals (that can do whatever they pleases), so if you think another person's welfare/existence/sexuality doesn't concern you, you must be kidding. In some ways other people's choices and actions affect us, even if not us it might affect our offsprings.. I think gays need counseling. With that maybe some might change.

last time i checked,humans were higher animals with an revolutionary sense of thinking and massive amounts of brain power when compared to our cousin primates.
With this you'd think we would be able to apply our intellect to foster the movement for the greater good of man. And here we are,acting with our pre-homo habilis sense of reasoning. You say animals are gay(which i disagree with but for the benefit of doubt),but they still know that they have to mate with a female counterpart to reproduce. The natural order is male + female= offspring. Anything else is out of context. When you were two or three,you could play with a 3yr old girl's vagina and nothing would happen. Why? Because you know nothing. The urge to mate is imbibed in us. When nurtured in the right way,you 'develope ' (key word is develope) feelings for females. When nurtured wrongly,you get gays. I've seen a guy crying to me and his inner circle that he's gay but doesn't want to be. He's neva had gay sex though but he feels attracted to men and that made him socially crooked. And it pains him! It really does. He was like seriously crying that he doesn't want to be gay but he's gay. So I would say people don't choose their sexuality.

But let me show you one or two things.
I'm not trying to avoid the quotation you posted. I'll come back to it.
I've been studying the Pentateuch for quite some time now. And most of it is riddled with clauses like "The Lord said to Moses" and the likes. And when I read most of the things that the Lord supposedly said, I ask myself: did "The Lord" really tell Moses these things? Or was Moses using that clause to give credibility to the words and laws which he was bestowing on the Israelites?
Why?
Because many of the things that the Lord supposedly commanded are ridiculous.

For example,
1. A woman's menstrual flow was seen by Moses as something that makes her unclean (Leviticus 15: 19). Such that she is ritually unclean throughout the period that she is menstrua.ting and for 7 days thereafter. Now if menstrua.tion has always part of God's design for the body of a woman, why will "The Lord" say that menstrua.tion makes a woman unclean.

2. When a man has seminal emission, he becomes ritually unclean (Leviticus 15: 16). And we both know that naturally, seminal emissions can occur during wet dreams. And it is known that wet dreams are part of the body's normal physiological response. Which is believed to have been put in man by God. So why does "The Lord" declare a man who has seminal emissions unclean?

3. Take a look at Leviticus chapters 18 and 20. You will discover that they were talking directly to men and not to women. Infact, everything there was about men. And I ask: does "The Lord" discriminate against gender where sexual sins are concerned?
