what can they do?...is it becs dey are being telorated by the easthern region,if dey try bullsh#t omo na! Death row.

My friend! Go and sleep. When it starts na una go cry pass. As long as you are fighting people who value cows more than their own lives, na you go lose. So they attack and kill 6 people, Okey, Sunny, Osondu et al who are all biz men and bread winners with promising futures and you guys kill 20 of them who where born in the bushes, sucked on cow breasts and no future. Who lose? They'll just keep coming in droves. Take it from someone who has been there. The only solution is to settle the matter amicably.

Attack is the best form of defence!

Aba boys should start slaughtering any Fulani man on sight with immediate effect. Let them not wait for those Zombies to do them as they're doing to the good people of Berom in Jos.

ATTACK, BEST FORM OF DEFENCE!

Are we even sure they are Fulanis and not from Niger?
Nigeriennes may not have that liberty and courage to roam freely on other people's land and crops, and still threaten them on top. These people are not foreigners, they are insiders.

[quote author=kennygee post=29328092]Since when did Fulanis become so violent?

Since our communities (E.g, Kogi, Enugu, Benue, Nassarawa, etc) proved feeble in protecting their own lands. Imagine foreigners claiming Mugambos in foreign lands. Mtcheeewww!!!

The biggest mistake ever in the history of the Fulanis is to make attempts at what they did in Plateau and environs with the Ibos...
Firstly, the Ibos are not known for beating the drums of war without provocations. Once they do, it becomes very difficult for them not to go into "war".
Secondly, the Fulanis should know better and take a cue from past attacks on Ibos in the far North by the Hausas and the subsequent reaction on their brothers in the East.
Thirdly, when it comes to violence against the Ibos, the East is always united against intruders because it takes the blood of an Ibo to wake up the other Ibos to "duty".
Tis better for the Fulanis to pack their cows and leave now before they all get missing.
....lol...i pity those fulanis if they try anytin stupid...both them n their cows wont leave abia

When will all these stop?

Good question.

The answer is simple....Government needs to stop the Sahara from pushing down into the North...so that Fulani cattle men won't need to come down south(except on holidays...)

Cattle ranching also works....the Fulani need to realize that the era of the free range cattle is over. (It has been over in America at least since the 1890's...).

Finally...education and developing an industrial society...would provide alternative jobs so that Fulanis and even farmer tribes won't see subsistence level farming as a viable option.

Solutions, solutions....

I pity these foolanis, first, SE is not like north with barren expanse of land hidden by hills and valleys were they can do there cowardly hit and run nocturnal attacks and escape. second, Igbos are a proud set of people, that would see at as an eternal shame if the foolanis should come all the way from the north and attack them in their homeland and still go scot-free. Third, the reprisal attacks of 2001 should rather serve as a lesson to these perennial and primitive fools, I was in Aba then and what I saw was a gory and chilling atmosphere that would make savages look like gentlemen. Carcasses of barbecued Hausa/Fulani men littered every major junction in Aba, Opobo/ehere junction, all along Ikot-Ekpene road up to NTA gate, Ukaegbu Junction, East, water side etc all in Ogbor-hill area were I resided then were all piled up with burnt and acrid smelling cadavers. It was so bad that I became sick and vowed never to eat suya again. Anybody here who was in Aba then would concur with me. They should thread carefully!
