Hey Buddy, take it. Life is a risk, Face life with confidence & courage. I had a similar situation 2007, I got a 3 months contract job with same MTN doubled my current pay which was a permanent job. With counsel from my late mum and his Grace I took it. It led to many opportunities and I have moved up & done pretty well in my career. Please pray about it but take it.

It depends on the kind of work the new job entails. If it's going to add value to yourself and also boost your CV, please take it and keep searching for better jobs. Like someone said above, you might meet some people there and hit big connections. Personally, I will take it.

Monetarily, assuming your new job is just for 6 months, you will get wealth of 1.2million. while in your present job you can only amass that sum in 30 months!!!! Technically you have gained 2 years!!!! Even if it will take you another 6 months to get another job. I believe you are still good.

MTN is a well recognized organization in Nigeria hence your resume is better than before, more robust, more experience and more presentable. Inter-company experience is actually also better than working in a place all your life because you gain more experience in "business" processes and meet new people (networking) which is highly important.

My advise...go for the new job. Dont let fear of the unknown debar your progress.
