From what I know, I don't think they subject student visa applicants to external checks. The delay in yours is unconnected with an external check. They do have many holidays this period. You will get it soon.. Be patient.. beat your chest and say all iz well...

That's a negative assessment...you can't apply for your visa with that.

Didn't you check the duties of your nominated occupation as detailed on abs, to see if it is the same as your work experience?

You can reassess for a different occupation that closelymatches your work experience job description.

I read all the duties and they are closely related infact my duties are even more technical than the listed ones.

Someone here got a positive assessment for Arch draftsperson. They could have felt your duties related more to Architect, and not Arch draftsperson...since you said your duties are more technical.
