The Military will only have records of training they sent buhari on much like every other company or employer does no doubt. The question now is what qualification did buhari posses that gained him entry into the military?
The military have also said that they can only posses photocopies of credentials submitted to them.

Practically if I lie or forge my way into an organization , work and retire after 50yrs, I would still face criminal charges if discovered later in future.
