For me I just be myself and try sort whatever it is with the person. Humans are complicated tho so I do what I can to make things right again then I leave the rest for the person and God. I hope this helps you op.

you see @poster. Your prototype to what a perfect relationship is confusing. Your really don't understand what a perfect relationship is. A lot of people are in perfect relationships and many more will be. Perfection in this since doesn't equate to no issues, it simply means going forward with little or no scars to harm the relationship. My mentor once commented about his late wife that throughout the time she lived, she never for once raised her voice on him, now if that is what he envisioned as a perfect relationship, then he had it with her. My advice is : define your own perfection in relationship and work towards it.
