Brother how much is the minimum amount they (your relatives) pay as school fees abroad?
What kind of question is this? how does this change the fact that anyone (Average) can send his or ward to school abroad? where they study should be the bone of contention and not going abroad.

GEJ's children were actually schooling somewhere in Lekki until a couple of months ago when they was need to move them to the UK based on security reports. I believe you recall reading when he travelled to the UK for personal reasons. GEJ believes in the Nigerian project unlike so many politicians who have abandoned ship a long time ago.
Hmmm So he moved his kids to the UK and abandom our children and expose them to death is that a true leadership? When GMB was Head of States not sure have ever heard of him relocating his children abroad. What is good for the goose is good for the gander

We should always ask questions. We should as much as possible objectively weigh the two BIG BURDENS we have to put up with in this forthcoming elections. We have two clueless people struggling to lead us. I have the following questions for both candidates:

JONATHAN

1. What tangible achievements have u got to show us in these last six years?
2. Where are the promises you made during the fuel price increase crisis?
3. What major difference have u been able to make in the lives of Nigerians
4. What happened to the state of emergency in the power sector - what result did it yield?
5. Why were u not able to manage the goodwill you garnered at the 2011 polls?
7. Why are u not able to stop insurgency in the N/E
8. What happened to our foreign reserves
9. What did you do to ensure the issues that brought up the Niger Delta challenge does not come up again when u leave office?
10. Why are you not able to complete the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway in six years
11. Why are not able to fix Power in six years
12. Why was the Oshodi/Apapa Expressway not fixed in six years
13. Why was the Lagos/Benin/Ore/Onitsha highway not fixed in six years
14. Why can't children/the elderly/pregnant women enjoy free healthcare in Nigeria in six years?
15. Why was there no single speed train even in the FCT in six years?
16. Is only few of these refurbished locomotives our money is able to put on the rail lines?
17. Why was our Universities left to rot
18. What happened to the 2nd Niger bridge in six years?
19. Why didn't you build refineries?
20. Why is it you cannot talk, you cannot inspire Nigerian youths and adults alike?
21. Why was the modified constitution on independent candidates not passed?
22. Why do you want another chance?

BUHARI

1. Why did you overthrow a democratically elected government of Nigeria in 1983?
2. Are you aware this is a treasonable felony because it is a declaration of war on the state?
3. Why do you then portray yourself as a patriot?
4. Why did you stop the Lagos metroline making Nigeria to lose hard earned money
5. How much was your salary as the supreme leader of Nigeria in 1983/84?
6. Were you accountable to Nigerians at that time?
7. Why do you portray yourself as a poor man when you had your two hands in the treasury for that length of time?
8. What do you do now for a living? How many jobs have you created as an entrepreneur?
9. Why were innocent politicians jailed by your regime?
10. How do you want to create the jobs you are promising Nigerians?
11. What happened to Atiku and the suitcases?
12. Why was Idiagbon allowed to take an underaged boy to Mecca while it was an offence?
13. Why did you rule your countrymen with terror and intimidation?
14. What did you do about the decaying railway?
15. What did you do the decaying power sector?
16. You were the first and only Nigerian past Head of State to support the political sharia in Nigeria. Why?
17. You threatened violence before 2011 elections and after the elections it was carried out with many lives lost. Why?
18. You have threatened violence again before this election, will you allow killings if you lose?
19. Why were u the only former Head of State that the Boko Haram nominated to speak for them?
20. How did workers and students fare under your regime?
21. Why is it you cannot talk, you cannot inspire Nigerian youths and adults alike?
22. What happened to the PTF funds?
22. Why do you want to rule Nigeria again?

Yes! No doubt, Buhari's daughter trended on twitter yesterday, after some of her pictures went viral. I am very happy for her that as a beautiful daughter of Buhari, a leading presidential candidate in the forthcoming elections, Priviledges like this come along.

I am not actually fused by Buhari's daughter trending because she is beautiful or she is Buhari's daughter, i am so shocked about the information i got about her.

The Information is that, Buhari's daughter is based and schooling in the united kingdom. She is a 400level student of microbiology in the university of surrey Uk according to lindaikeji.

My take on this:

1. It is no secret that why our politicians keep their children abroad, they use other people's children to achieve their aim.

2. Residing and schooling in the United Kingdom is very expensive. Buhari have been touted severally to be a saint that cant afford even a house, but, just one of his daughter that we have information on, is schooling in the Uk, I don't know about his other children.

3. It is high time nigerians as a whole begin to ask pertinent questions about our leaders and not just follow sheepishly whatever they hear. A politician will always be a politician.

4. Nigeria has pressing issues, very pressing issues, i actually do expect a Hashtag like #SayNoToTerrorism to trend amongst our youth in solidarity with the nigerian Army fighting night and day to end terrorism, but, it is a lady based in the UK that is trending.

5. Say No To Election Violence. #SayNoToElectionViolence should be our watchword. Why we kill ourselves, destroy our hard-earned properties, let us ask ourselves, were are the politicians of this children. Are their own properties even being tampered with?

My take on this issue is not just based on only Buhari's daughter, but on all politicians in these country. I strongly believe that, why they fight for power here, their children are somewhere abroad enjoying the perks of being offsprings of them.

#SayNoToTerrorism , #SayNoToElectionViolence
and after hash tagging what then. how does that solve the problem
democracy is rule by majority not rule by the meritorius
welcome to the white mans trap we walked right into eyes wide open
democracy is a slow form of govt(watch boondocks, cant remember the episode)
but the ppl(voters) have a right to trend about a beautiful girl instead of dead bornonians and a near comatose economy
you cant force them to vote for what "you" think they s"should" be voting for
ppl have a right to be ignorant(suffer while smiling)
you cant force them to like what you like
beauty of democracy(shows how "unserious" an entire nation is )

It's a simple question bro, didn't mean it to annoy you. I have a friend who studied in U.K, Nothingham Trent University, he told me he paid 10,000 pounds as tuition fee.

Now how can someone pay that amount and say he's not rich?. I mean being rich has grades but still anyone who can afford that amount is surely not poor!.

So where did your relative school?.

Don't even bother trying to reason with these people. They don't even understand the point of the Op's post.

Which is a foreign school built in Nigeria....note that he won't send his son to Kubwa Primary school! grin

Again....not GEJ's fault...every parent has the right to send his kids to whichever school.(I know of one guy from a poor home whose parents suffered to send him to a prestigious private school.)....but then again, his govt needs to make the hard choices in improving educaiton in Nigeria....by improving funding for primary schools....via removing the fuel subsidy and making unis private...and using the savings to improve primary and secondary education.

Simples.
Lai lai. That system won't work in Nigeria, our mentality is not the same. The average Nigerian runs Educational institutions for money, they think building a fine building and putting computers is achievement. They don't care about the quality of minds teaching inside it. Most Nigerians are very suspicious of learned intellectual folks and appreciate people who use foreign accent to speak to them as "intellectual".

Let Primary and Secondary be govt-funded. Then 5 Universities and 5 Federal Schools of Technology be heavily govt-funded and invested with the best brains. Anyone who wants to work for NNPC will have to go to those Fed Unis. Any company that wants massive contracts from govt fund visiting lecturers from their countries to teach there (particularly if it's Sciences). So we have Engineers who actually can catch up international and Technicians who can compete with their foreign peers.

Jonathan is simply behaving like the late sage Awolowo who sent his children to schools in Ibadan as a sign of his commitment to EDUCATION for all, which is the cornerstone of sustainable development.
And as you well know...those schools were better back then....and were staffed by foreigners as well as Nigerians.

And the govt did not run too many schools back then.

Not like now when thanks to Gowon's mass takeover of schools in the 1970's...and the poor education budgets we have had ever since...led to government being like the old woman who lived in a shoe, who had so many children she did not know what to do.......schools are so bad that Awo won't be sending his great-great grand children to anyone of them...if he were alive

And I doubt Jonathan would be sending his kids to the local Wuse Primary School...or GSS Wuse.

(Not too long ago...some state Governors were handing over some schools back to missions.)

Do you know you're talking about a ex-head of state?
Do you know he's entitled to pension that covers education for his kids?
Also as an ex-military top man, he's got pension too that covers education for his kids...

Now, to my relatives, they're in NY and NJ and they school in the universities there.

What else do you want to hear? the question you should be asking is "what kind of school is his daughter attending and does the pension cover the school fees?

Let's start concentrating on sensible issues.

Lies and Deceit are like Bread and Butter to Politicians.

Don't you get the message?

Why you kill yourselves over this politicians their children don't even bother. They enjoy themselves abroad.

A typical example: I just went through the tweets of this said daughter of muhammadu Buhari. She has not even been tweeting or campaigning for her father. She just started yesterday. All she has been tweeting all this while her dad has been campaigning is just how she is living her life, Meanwhile an inconsequential nobody like you will be ranting all over people who don't care one bit for you.

PDid you get the message now? If not then maybe you should beg them to help you access a much better school in nigeria.
she has not been 'tweeting' all dis while...listen to yourself..is twitter the ONLY social media?
Why u r pained is because it was buhari's daughter, if its jonathan nw...u ud be hailing!

(Which is going to become more difficult now that oil prices are dropping).

I think His Excellency needs to raise school fees, privatize universities, and use the saved money to fund primary and secondary education more.

And he should get us off oil...because we have become so oil and resource dependent....that we are not willing to work hard at making our education system practical, innovative and strong....and yes, it goes for all levels of government.
