Hian! I'm not ready for another lengthy epistles in defence of something defenceless that merely serves to inflate the pages of this thread.

The discipline and maturity by arsenal here at the etihad is the best i have seen them display in probably a decade.

Not just the back 4 to be fair,The Arsenal midfield did a perfect job of screening the back 4 and crowding Silva away from the hole. I dont remember aguero getting a chance to isolate the defence at any stage. Just fantastic counter attack set up. Very impressed, hooe they don't keep that up. I do see them finishing in the top 4 for sure because its Arsenal and its just what they do under wenger. Just really need LvG to buck his ideas up asap.

we can't play like this - too many passengers in our team & they are scared of the ball. evans & jones treat the ball like leprosy or ebola. their touch isn't sure & their confidence is zero while in possession.

I think we should be more cautious of those coming behind us than those ahead bcus we hv a better chance of making the top 4 than winning the league. Arsenal,Southampton, spurs and westham are all contesting for top 4 and they are closing on us quickly except Southampton that were already ahead of us.Just 5points separated us from Liverpool who are on 8th on the table.
Which means I would hv preferred a city win to Arsenal today or at worst a draw, not that I loathe for Arsenal bt just for our own advantage on the top four race.

Yeah, I wanted a draw though I knew Arsenal were going to come out with sth when I saw City line-up. This is the best time to accumulate points cos we'll play top teams when they will also be busy in Europe.

Manchester United created 9 chances to QPR's 12 on Saturday, it wasn't a solid defensive performance or the much chanted team balance after all. Man-of-the-Match still went to David de Gea.

I'm of the opinion that the recent tactics employed by Louis van Gaal will make top players reject moves to Manchester United because the way I see it, there are not many wingbacks in the world of football right now. Center backs used to the three back system are also few. These guys may dread playing out of position or adapting to an alien system.

Louis van Gaal is after the likes of Gareth Bale but I don't see where he will really fit in, considering we have Angel di Maria already out of position, Nani and Wilfried Zaha still in the equation, Luke Shaw and Rafael da Silva losing faith, among so many other factors.

I'm not too sure defenders like Hummels, Otamendi or Varane not used to a back three pattern will like to make the switch if system remain constant.
