Just realised the menopur quantity I bought wasn't enough so I went into a frenzy. Called on doc in Lagos. That one said he had menogun not menopur. Now menogun is a less purified form of menopur, with more side effects and cheaper. The gentleman said he would sell menogun to me, 4k5 per 75iu vial. I just laughed. Meanyl meanogun is 2k5 pee bottle to menopur's 4k per bottle.
Imagine the profit of 2k on a bottle times 40 vials per patient. That's 80k and just on menogun alone o!
Make una no mind me o! I just needed to rant after my hubby made me cry all day yesterday with an insensitive comment about how if he touches another person now now she go carry belle.
It is well. God will change this our story

My sister don't mind d docs, its not there fault. A doc here sells letrozole for 18k while i got d same letrozole for 10,950 that is like 7k sometin gain on top. Hcg some doc sell for 5k sometin a bottle was sold to me @ 2500. It is well and will definitely end in praise.

My hubby made some sensitive remarks too to me some days ago, thou he has apologised I'm still in a very bitter mood. It will surely end in praise I swear!!

Took me some days to read through, but am glad I did. For all the ttc n expectant mum's in d house, God will surely fulfil his promise. For the pregnant mamas, God will guide n protect u till u deliver safely.

@LadyG Biko Biko you need to relax. You cannot be taking menopur and be stressed and be crying. Please dont worry about the armed robber doctors. We go leave them for God hand. As of hubby's comment no be today. Just smile wait on the Lord. We have heard all kinds of statements from them but they are men and thats the way they are wired. Just smile and be the great wife you are. It will all end in praise. We will continue to thank God for providing us the means to solve our problems.

I got information from this platform recently regarding ivf promo @ Nisa Premier hospital, Abuja and had to find out from an ivf staff involved with ivf Nisa hospital and Garki Specialist Hospital Abuja. The financial breakdown is below:

Nisa Premier Hospital
file & consultation 17,500k
test for couple 150k + 50k for drugs
ivf cost 850k. (promo cost 600k)
Extra cost for drugs worth 350k -400k depending on duration
Promo from 1st Feb - 31March

Garki Specialist Hospital
file 5k
consultation 6k
test for couple 60-70k
ivf cost 350k
free drugs worth 50k
Extra cost for drugs (30-34yrs female) worth 250-350k depending on duration. Their reduced rate is to help those who can't afford IVF high cost.

I believe it will be helpful to someone. Was informed that it is the same medical team that handle ivf at both Nisa hospital and Garki Hospital.

Yes they also had a promo last year, I think this is the third or fourth year of their promo. It's done once a year to help n encourage childless couples with financial problems. I always ignored the messages cos dh didn't go along with the idea, but after his friend opened up to him that he n his wife are expecting triplet from ivf, my guy begin reason as soon as he saw d beautiful bundles after birth. been married for five years n ttc for three years, had 3 mscgs, now considering ivf but cash is d problem. I was actually saving for it when Save a life hospital sent me their advert for this year.
I called d number n it was actually d director Dr Okoye that picked n explained to me.
I had registered with them in 2010 n so I renewed my card with 1k, did scan 2k, amh test (for ovarian function) 10k.
Met with two other Drs n was later sent a text that the balloting will take place on d 26th February n 1st March.

I'm new to this so have been taking notes on all that have been said on d ivf and others. Will discuss with my DH who have been supportive all these while. Will keep u updated and hope to get your support and advice.

Welcome Tochi and may ur stay here be very short in Jesus name. Like ur name, keep on praising God.
However, one year? Have u done your fertility tests? What is the challenge? I think you ashould sort it out before discussing ART and IVF with oga. Could be hormonal imbalance or something that can be handled easily. IVF cost well well o to quick rush enter there when there could be a cheaper option.

I did another blood test yesterday which was day 19 still positive. Though the first blood test I did with my doctor on day 16 he said it was low positive. My people I am totally confused and I don't know what to do. Pls I need una help to stop this bleeding of my. Because I don't want to loss this after ttc for 6 years . CRYING

Bleeding in early pregnancy is more normal than you think. Have you seen your doc? Please see him IMMEDIATELY for progesterone and further advice. Low positive probably meant your HCG was low which can be because of late implantation.
Please I repeat go and see your doc for gestone injections. In Jesus name, you will not lose your blessing! Amen

Welcome Tochi, we understand ur pain bc we are in same shoe. To begin,u and hubby should undergo fertility screening to know what the problem is only then can u decide on the best course of treatment.Who knows,IVF may not be an option for u,medications may help u get pregnant naturally.

You shall come out triumphant in Jesus name. The good lord who gives children will give you precious babies. This is my earnest prayer for you and all of us still looking up to God. I pray that God will honour his name in your life in this cycle. Relax for He has done it. Stay blessed sister.

Oh God its getting tougher on me oh,please come to my rescue. My sister's please pray for me,I'm stressed up.Different situations everyday.From laparoscopy which diagnosed endometriosis to cancelled ivf due to high fever ,then no AF for four weeks after taking the pills and today doc said my abdomen is messed up.right ovary attached to the womb,big cyst on the ovary and two myoma in my womb.Now no more ivf till after a radiology to see my womb and ovaries thoroughly then possible surgery again to clean me up.
I've never been this worried since I started this journey.I've cried my life out since I left docs office today I have no tears left. If my mom and mom in law could lift this burden they would have move mountains for me but they are as tight as I am.
Pray for me please,God I'm looking up to u,be my strength.

@henmaris, there is nothing God cannot do. Man has given his own verdict but God Almighty has the final say. Just keep praying and being positive and reject that result as it is not your portion. You shall overcome since God has promised us "that none shall be barren". It is well with you.
