I pity the Jonathanians!

All what GEJ said can be reduced to saying "stealing is bigger than corruption. People use corruption to conceal stealing"

But we all know that stealing is but a small part of corruption. There is no way you'll define corruption without referring to stealing one way or another.

Ok, what has GEJ done with the thieves in his cabinet if "stealing is not corruption"?

GEJ is not only a thief but clearly a very corrupt president. Hear him again: "how much did Nwobodo stole that Buhari jailed him?". . Can you also try to justify that statement? No matter how much you try to wish this away, it isn't going nowhere.

You guys are funny... When a traffic warden demands for money instead of punishing you for a traffic offense, is that stealing? When a school has a special class for parents willing to pay extra money for their children to be given answers to questions during exams, is that stealing? When a lecturer demands for sex from his female students to upgrade their scores, is that stealing?
When you see hospitals selling drugs that the federal government has distrubted free of charge is that stealing?
Stealing isnt corruption, stealing is stealing and corruption is corruption.

Besides, what we have in Nigeria is beyond that gentle man definition.

As GEJ put it, in Nigeria we have thieves not corruption.

His illustration yesterday is in sharp contrast to what he said earlier. He was just offered the opportunity to correct himself which he did by trying to make fun out of it all. In his earlier submission he said, "ORDINARY STEALING we mistake for corruption" thereby making stealing a lesser evil than the word corruption itself. Meanwhile yesterday he tried to elevate stealing as higher than corruption. There exists a tone of compromise in his take like someone who is not really convinced on the level which corruption has taken Nigeria to. For me, condemning the act of looting in governance should be total with a strong message to perpetrators. Whether stealing or corruption or bribery , whatever you choose to call it, culminates to what has brought Nigeria to its knees and its not looking to abate very soon with his body language.

The same lawyer that defined corruption will later change his word. We know WHAT APC is all about. They don't have single plan than to fight corruption. I wonder if GMB would be able to do anything out of the consent of law. Nigeria is now 170million, not the 60million he left in 1983.
Let osibanjo shut bis mouth.
As a lawyer, what has he done to Nigeria? We heard of great lawyers like Gani Fawehimi whose impact are immeasurable and others. What has the fool done to make Nigeria better? Is it not the same lawyers that are fining someone who stole 20 billions 350 thousands naira? Is GEJ the one to do the work of legislature and judiciary? Bite off more than you can eat.

These were the words of President GEJ which many have misrepresented

Asked about his 'Stealing is not corruption' comment, president Jonathan said he never said stealing is not corruption -
"The word corruption we have abused it and it's not making so much sense. I did not say stealing is not corruption. I made that statement in reference to ex-CJN, Justice Musdapher. A thief should be called a thief. Ole should be called ole! If you say somebody is corrupt people don't know what you mean". He added "A thief is a thief. Don't use the word corruption to cover stealing. Call the person a thief"

Hatred is worse than any sin one can think of. Some hate the President just because of what others have said about him. God knows the hearts of all humans.

God bless President Goodluck Jonathan

Is Prof Osinbajo slow in simple comprehension or what?

Jonathan was explicit in explaining himself.

He stated that he had a parley with a former CJN on the incidence of corruption/crime.

He posited that Justice Mustapha disclosed that over 70% of the cases under the judge's purview were actually outright theft being branded as corruption. He was making a case that what people normally give the appellation of corruption are nothing short of thievery.

Instead of branding a public official guilty of misappropriation as corrupt, he was suggesting that a more apt or grievous term should be applied. Let the guilty official be addressed as the thief that s/he is so as to serve as a deterrent to others.

So what is difficult for this APC man to understand?

Mr president is quite right. The word corruption has been so over used and misused that it is now seen as sexy and cool. When you call a politician in Nigeria corrupt it is as if you are complimenting him. The average market woman on the street does not know what corruption means, what they know is 'thief' in English and 'ole' in Pidgin.

I love this GEJ. I can feel his altruism. He is downright humble and loving. He is not power drunk. He wants everybody body do his job the best he can. He mean well for our country. He knows nobody is perfect, not even himself. The problem of Nigeria cannot be solved in one swoop as one Fulani man from Katsina is claiming he can. It is a lie. He has been lying since the early 1960s and even as an old man he is not ready to change.
See one professor following cattle rearer as servant. APC and GMB headed for the greatest shocker of their political life. We are waiting for you. This your false confidence will crumble before your eyes. GEJ just continue with the grace God gives you, and we will be here to celebrate your vindication by God.

GMB where is your school certificate?

Truth be told you are better at putting GEJ's thoughts together than GEJ himself.

If only GEJ was this articulate,maybe....
