If its march 2016 then the op can go ahead to apply on geting to Canada he wil renew both his passport and visa. Bcoz cic wont issue visa more than passport validity....

For those just joining the thread and old active participants, we have a tradition here that helps TRV hopefulls to know CIC response timeline and which (month, week) applications they are currently treating. This list also answers questions like; how long will it take CIC to invite applicants for medicals, how long to request for passport after medicals, how long to issue TRV after Medicals/passport request.......etc

The important of this list are quit numerous, and i will implore ALL to kindly work together to keep this LIST going.

Please my online VISA application states that I should attach CAQ from the MICC in Quebec to my application. I av already done same and couriered it to Quebec. The University resumes in March and getting CAQ would take like 28days (as it is on their website) not to talk of visa (though I am applying online). I have reasoned that I should just attach the CAQ application and payment to the MICC in the place for CAQ and do an explanation for it in the LOE.

Pls guys what do you advice I do in this instance?

Just get to a photo shop, take a new pix or passport photo with a smiling face......and use ut to get ur visa.

my dads sponsorship letter for my brother who studied in UK

Listen carefully.
All your finance documents including school fees receipts should be merged in one file not exceeding 4mb then uploaded on the means of financial support section.

Then all your letters, including your LOE, LOS, CV, etc to explain your application should be merged in one file and uploaded to Letter of Explanation section.

I really dont know know how Quebec system works and the importance of what you need from MICC to progress with ur application. I think some folks here has gone through that process mayb you should contact them. If its part of your requirment For study permit in Quebec will advice u get, bcoz this VO are'nt always sympathetic to request for additional information. If you cant get it ontime, mayb u should differ. But make thorough enquiry about this.....dont know much

I think I'm a bit confused about my application. Having done my medical tests on the 5th of February, I observed the status was updated on 9th of February. The review of the medical result show "passed".

However, my account shows that I have to update my medical status online. The hospital gave me no documents to upload after the test and my status shows "We need an additional document from the applicant". It also sows that "Proof of medical result (required)".

Please has anyone done medicals recently with any info on what I'm supposed to do after taking the medical test? Your urgent info is much need as tomorrow is the deadline for me to update my profile.

my course requires an optional co-op. i included that work is an essential part of my studies. Hope its not a disadvantage. Now i need evidence of work requirement before i submit. My school says i can only apply for a letter of coop involvement after the semester results are out.

You need to be certain that there ar no other additional information they ar requesting n ur MYCIC account. If its just medical, leave it to them they will sort it out, u can aswell call the clinic to know if they hav sent your result.

Check properly to ensure they are not requesting for other form of documents aside medical.

And i had to help him out by posting the pictures i was sent. Since his network is bad and the deadline is tomorrow.

Sponsors data page should also be attached to your finance file.
Brothers passport should be attached to LOE.
Including your dad's sponsor letters

i want to re answer a questionaire stating that work isnt needed in my course of study so i wont have to submit an evidence
what stage is the LOE cos from screenshots on here i cant see a section like that
