This is the 'most hilarious ' thread I've seen today, the comments are so damn funny!! Personally I adore my mum a lot, I can 'Bomb' the moon for her. If my wifey 'dream of', imagine it or even conceive the thought of ever slapping my mum........hmmmm, let me reserve my comment first.

No amount of anger will make a lady slap her mother in law. Any woman that does that shows that, it is not her first time. It shows she slaps her Mum and dont see any difference in slapping her mother in law. Any of my brother's wives that dares that, she will live to regret the day she set her eys on my brother not to talk of marrying him.

I can co-own the house with him if its something i have to do but as the head of the house he will still be in charge of the whole house. I don't buy the business of owning a house if am married.

My primary responsibility is to make my home, home and not work my self up over some petty thing as owning a house.

I would hear from two of them, whether my wife is at fault or not, sincere apology and plea for forgiveness for such violent/animalistic behavior would be mandatory.

Though I would not raise my hand on her, but would sternly condemn her action and reprimand her. I would also be on knees and beg my mother for forgives. It would also be a course of wisdom to ensure my wife receives scriptural counsels.

Nevertheless, it's worth mentioning that the most important person to me on earth presently is my wife. My family in which I am the head, is different from my mother's family whose headship belongs to my father. It's a great show of ignorance when I hear grown-up married men referring to their parents' family as theirs.
