It was a misunderstanding. The picture was released after Gen. Buhari arrived London and people including reputable journalists and members of APC thought the picture was taking in London.

The journalist who conducted the interview, clarified the interview was done in Abuja.

So there is no plan to lie but a misunderstanding. PDP did not find anything but the journalist that conducted the interview clarified the misunderstanding.

Ok...but why the misunderstanding by the APC? Grievous misunderstanding or may be deliberate misunderstanding...

Clearly, it is YOU who didn't read it, Bleeping illiterate.
The Guardian has just ADMITTED that the picture was NOT taken in London as was claimed by APC Twitter propagandists like Ogundamisi.
Please read and comprehend before asking others to do so.

And you think the so called Ogundamisi get the news from the Guardian, a national news daily...?

Do you people have something to think with inside your heads?

APC as a political party did not release that info and if you think they did, please show us where...

This is why I maintain majority of Buhari's supporters are stark illiterates who are severely hollow in the reading department.
If you had any reading skills, you would have realized that this retraction is Guardian admitting that Buhari's so called 'London interview' was FAKE.
Wake up from your slumber and read, you nitwit!

God forbid this country falling under the hands of these illiterate, brainless mutts known as APC. These people are the worst thickos in cyberspace!
Herd mentality!
Shame!
Who gave Guardian the pix in the first instance? APC have released several pix of Buhari in London, Guardian didnt use any.

What is the source of that picture in the first place?
Definitely not from lai Muhammed or the Apc campaign office.

Guardian should tell us where they got the picture in the first place.

It was not deliberate because top journalists also thought it was done at London.

The journalist who conducted the interview did not have an ulterior motive. He was the one who made people know it was done at Abuja.

If APC planned a fake interview, they would not use a prominent journalist who would come out and say that he did it at Abuja.

It was an interview done for a popular political show.

PDP is making a publicity stunt out of nothing.

Fayose did not bust any one. He took the pics after Guardian have retracted their publication, which was after the Journalist announced that he conducted the interview at Abuja, not London.

The problem with retractions is that they do not grab the attention in the same way that falsified headlines do.

P.S.
I long since noticed that The Guardian has gone downhill since the old man died.

You people screamed and yelled like mad bingo over certificate and Hausa language till Cambridge shut you up and moved on to the next stupidity..

You people heard Buhari is visiting London and is speaking at the Chatham and you once again as expected lost your worthless minds till Tony Blair's office crushed your souls by admitting that the former PM met with the Lovable#GMB2015..

I am honestly at loss about what the whole nonsense is about. Are Nigerians that idle that the main subject of political debate is whether Buhari took a picture in London or Abuja?

So because Buhari's picture was said to be taken in London when it was actually taken in Abuja while he was actually in London when the pictures were released to the public means we should not vote for him.

I an ashamed at what other countries would think of Nigerians when they see and hear what interest Nigerian electorates.
