I agree with most of the point's except the parents/ward giving the girls more..utter bvllshit.. just saying,my younger sister got x2 my allowance in school.I was also the one doing bis and other expenses as a big brother concerned.she saves upto 20k monthly which my parents don't know of. my point is, they give her far more than she requires and let the the guys have just enough. applies to my female friends in school girls tho 3 Likes |

The op is gravely mistaken. Women always get more attention than guys. As a son, your father will immediately assume you are a man and can take care of yourself. Abi, na you smoke the pawpaw leaf wey Adamu leave for backyard? 4 Likes 1 Share |

Except I want to offend God, my parent ,though, not wealthy give me everything I need... everything. They were and are still my only source of income from 100 and Now I'm in my finals. I lack nothing except the normal student brokeness when you use your money for unnecessary things. I was not placed on monthly alawi I simple ask the moment my account is becoming red and, yes, I get alert from my bank. At home or in school I get what I want it only reduces when I'm at home. My dad still gives me money to make my hair whenever he notice my hair looks unkept... What I know is our parents are trying, they can't give what they don't have... we should try to be contented. 17 Likes

Very nice thread. I happen to be one who really feel for my female friends who are in the higher institution. When they call me and tell me they need some help financially, i try to help. Even to those i am not really close to, not to talk of my girl friend. In essence, i know if i am their last hope and i dont help, they might be force to get it in the other way round. And in so doing i will not forgive myself if i had the means of helping but didnt. |

Op has been justifying prostitution since she joined nl. Which family gives more money to the boys than they give to the girls? Is there nothing else a girl can do to get money aside prostitution? Poverty isn't the only reason you girls phock around. It's just in your DNA. 1 Like |

Becoming a runs girl is not about finances - i knew of girls from very comfortable backgrounds who became runs babes. you could actually see two sisters - one a hajia/SU, and the other a runs babe. ditto for guys. Cult boys come from all backgrounds the real question is how insecure is the person concerned. a person who feels the need to oppress/be noticed is a prime candidate for runs girl/cult boy. 3 Likes |

Safarigirl be "talking" the truth..... I had a similar experience back in my poly days....No alowee for hair, cream n small frys.. Popsi would say in that his military voice "We sent you to read books not to be beautiful" ...On one occasion I was forced to talk back at dad, "Popsi I know say u no get but 2k for 2weeks? That's witchcraft". The old man chased me back to school with same 2k from which I would pay back the soft loan I used in faring home and also faring back to school is from the 2k also....How much come remain?? Imagine a 2k alert that is suppose to last me 2weeks with very meagre provisions....To even buy new clothes na war and like seriously momsi thought there was a guy somewhere who should be catering for my small needs because she saw some love textmessages on my phone. Then there was no Brazilian hair ooo but to buy the cheap synthetic hair na double wahala. A friend and room mate of mine had it worse when I thought mine was the baddest....Her popsi gives her 2k to spend for 1month. 9 Likes |

tyconcepts: tactical maneovering. That still doesn't justify the reason you went into runz, look around your poly and you notice student who go into one to two business to survive, I know of student who went as far as writing exams/impersonating ( not trying to justify their act ) but Johore are other things you can venture into without runz. First of all, I commend you for this write-up but you failed to mention the issue of greed! Why blame the male children in this issue? Some of these girls that do 'runs' in universities, do you think their parents don't give them enough money to carter for their immediate needs? Most of them are just so greedy! They want expensive things that are beyond their means. When they can't afford them, they resort to 'runs'. 2 Likes 1 Share |
