Please remove enugu from that list. enugu is a poor old reddish town with poor people. The list should go thus; Abuja, Ibadan, Calabar and maybe Uyo
Which Ibadan?

Is it there another Ibadan in Nigeria apart from the one i know?

Any time i visit Ibadan i wonder how people cope, i really pity the residents.

I cannot forget the rat experience i had in a supposedly 5 star hotel.
Would not want to go back there.

I don't see anyone giving real objective posts, Everyone here is just listing their cities. undecided It depends on what you think is the best, if you love a very calm, quite serene environment like me most cities in the North/Middle belt would do.

I have to say that I am shocked to see people proclaiming Ibadan as the best city in Nigeria to live in. Have those people ever visited Calabar?

First place is Calabar followed by Uyo and Enugu.

All of the places I've listed are clean, orderly, safe, great roads (Uyo and Calabar in particular), great local eateries, with respectful and charming locals.

Abuja would be on that list were it not for the security issue.

It was projected as one but it definitely falls below par maybe a 2 star at best.

Ilorin is way better than Ibadan.

Calabar, Uyo, Benin, Ibadan, Enugu, Abj.

Abj would be best if not for cost.

Ibadan all the way! Ibadan is the perfect description of the word “moderation”.

If someone asks me the factors to consider, I'll easily go for

1. Security: Ibadan is Peaceful

2. Cost of Living: Virtually everything you need is cheap in Ibadan. Is it Accommodation, Food or Transportation? Even clothes and Electronics are sold at moderate prices

3. Way of Life: If there's one reason I hate Lagos, it'll be the way of life of Lagosians. THEY ARE ALWAYS RUSHING! They are the 1st to wake and last to sleep. Life in Ibadan is cool and calm. Depending on your Location, you can leave home by 7.30am and get to work by 7.50am.

4. Population: Ibadan has a moderately high
Population and the negative impact of the
High population is hardly felt because of the very Large Land mass that compensates for the population

5. Social Life: Ibadan is moderately lively. If you are not expecting to be playing around all the days of your life, then Ib should be cool for you

6. Room for Development: Ibadan is set for improvements. Any creative person can rake millions with good ideas

Tho some say Calabar is cool but I've not been there.

Ilorin is also good for lowkey life but industrialization is almost absent
