If u have children,its advised to use icefish while making moimoi.
One lady said she will cut off icefish head and store in her freezer,then blend it with d beans together.
For omega 3 acid and some macro elements we can get from sea food.
I use mackerel,cayenne pepper, little oil,tomato onions and knorr cube.
I don't add crayfish.
A little nutmeg will do too.

I can only use crayfish if I'm preparing native moimoi ie,akwu water,enough crayfish and onions with pepper and seasoning.

wow, i ve never heard of dis mthod b4 o, ground ishi azu, nutmeg, no crayfish etc. And i didnt kno one cld use mmiri akwu for moinmoin. Thanks for sharing, we learn everyday.

Yeppp, if you are an expert in making pepper soup then you well be just fine, it's wonderful with sea food, stock fish (the very soft type), dried cat fish and minced meat.

@ Herz, i m thru o.Bt it didnt come out soo wonderfl . I think d qlty of my crayfish wasnt d best, dunno. And anoda thing, d upper part didnt 'cake ' well. its kind of soft, dont kno y cos i cooked it for more dan 1hr. Well, i ll do anoda one nxt wk. They say practice mks for perfection.

Av tried blending dis way, d first time it ddnt turn out well n I ended up throwing d half meshed beans. Tried with d mill, dry beans. It was worse. Ild hold on till I'm able to find a big griding machine ind nebohood bfr making moimoi.

Dear please it's too much. After one hour the beans would have soaked so much water that it will start to break when you are washing it. Also it will never rise no matter what you do to it. I don't soak at all, I put very little quantity of water and start washing immediately and before I say jack, the browns wound have removed. 20 min max and I'm done with my washing. I will show pics of mine when I make it. I've been out since morning so I had no time to cook it. Don't worry your next attempt will be better.
