10kobo at most. Transcorp's valuation is based on its potential.

President Goodluck is Visiting the Nigeria Exchange today.

Gurus in the house, is there any likely impact of his visit on equities today ??

For now, his visit no concen profit takers o. But Continuity's election win will be more bullish on the market than Change's win. I no call anybody by name o.

Bro dont hate yourself yet. The market is always difficult to predict. Oando can start heading northwards as from tomorrow and Transcorp doing the opposite. No one has always outsmart Mr market, as long as you have a good reason for doing what you did. Oando at its current price is a good bargain. Its 52 week high is above 30 naira. Happy investing bro.
Thanks bro for the word cheers

@newbies listen to @myjoy08 without due diligence at your own peril.

@myjoy08 and @Chibuking81 are equal and opposite. One is always bullish the other always bearish. So both can make your feverish
Exactly..Myjoy08 is always bullish no matter the situation likewise chibuking1 who is always bearish even in the present of a bull. grin These two guys are opposite but behave in the same manner.

Myjoy08 represents our bull here while chibuking1 represents the bear here.

Honestly, am always eager to see their post ( whether good news or bad news, they brighten my day with their imposing attitude). Right now am expecting our very Chibuking1 to resurface very soon. smiley

Candidly.... and whether we like it or not, the 2 actors have helped our sense of weighing market expectations and realign us on the path of caution.

Imagine only a 'Myjoy08' without a 'chibuking1'; portfolios could have turned red by now and vice versa!

Both sentiments help us to make balanced decisions when not over noised. But you are not quite right on chibuking. While myjoy is ALWAYS bullish, Chibu is bearish only for this season, and has room to be bullish sometime later, when he considers all or most obstacles cleared.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by pdozie: 11:45am On Mar 12, 2015
Guys please this question has been asked in this thread but the answer(s) were not too clear. Kindly help clarify:
Regarding STOP LIMIT, I know its used to set the price at which you want to buy/sell a stock. But lets look at the BUY/SELL scenarios:

BUY:
- Current Price = N5
Assuming I want to wait for price to drop to N4 before buying
- Price Type = STOP LIMIT
- Price Limit = N4
- STOP price = ?? (What should this be please/ or what is it?)

SELL:
- Current Price = N5
Assuming I want to wait for price to reach N7 to execute
- Price Type = STOP LIMIT
- Price Limit = N7
- STOP price = ?? (What should this be please)

Kind regards

I love the observations about the two pRoPhEts. However, it's the metamorphosis of the Ikoyi pRoPhEt that amazes me: He stormed this thread 7-8 months ago with prophecies, prayers and persuasive posts. He even doles out weekend prayers and blesses those who pour acids on him.

But now grin grin .... How much of a MONKEY HUNTER he has become! Words of motivation seem to have left his lexicon, save "we are making money this year". He no longer compels newbies to BUY, he just tells them to do their homework... And calls on oga Agba to pump up stocks, at will.

grin grin grin Oga abeg, na joke o...but small truth dey inside am. cheesy

I believe also that all traders love bears when in cash and bulls when in stock. So both bearish and bullish analysts are helpful and okay.
