Tolu, u are getting so serious these days. Try to smile once in a while. It helps u make better decision when u are at ease.

Morgan is a small stock broking firm that is trying to use technology and price to price out their competitors. I pray they enter the list sometime soon. But note, most big guys DT invest in NSE don't have time to use I trade like we do, no time to watch bid and offer and they likes, they assign this task to their brokers in big firms. Most of the them are investors and not traders. The big houses have analysts with large years of experience for better research and can do forecast based on present fundermentals

I use Stanbic IBTC, they are the biggest. The advantage is that most time they get me the stock I want and sell the ones I want even when I wonder how they are able to sell/buy. (eg I was surprised how they sold by unity months ago even when the stock was in the mechanic workshop). They also buy me stock at really good prices despite intraday fluctuations.
Now to the drawback, I still envy you guys with live trade. I have to wait till end of the day to place my trade...so old school right?

Stanbic is not bothered about all this new Online trading ish.. Their clientele base are mostly institutional investors and FPi's.

You hardly see their adverts, you hardly hear them talk. All we see is their constant occupation among the Top 5 by Value/Volume every week.

If you are someone that like to copy "ceo@..." then grin

Sorry for my long epistle.. it is 5million NGN.

grin grin grin

Some1 asked about Fundamental vs Technical Analysis for Stocks. I Saw this PDF online and it explain a lot about that. So this might help.

I tried uploading it here but NL said the file was too large (4.5mb)

So here is the link. If it shows error, then copy and paste it on Google.com to download.

Thank you for the link above. This will help many to understand TA and Fundamentals, but more importantly the harm in emotional investing and reluctance to activate stop losses.

Absolutely, bro. It's a foundational book, more comprehensive than many of its kind. A trading plan will prevent many mishaps. Buy the rumour, sell the news (cc: feelamong)

About emotional investing, there's some emotions (or guts) involved when one invests in a stock that one is nowhere near the Board of Directors...but activating stop losses saves blushes.

@jauntty: Thanks again for the link.

@all: I know many other ogas here, including Elai 147, have shared valuable resources many hundred pages away on this thread. But page 777 ("is a number Oluwashina" grin) is a page we can easily refer newbies to get the link/book by @jauntty.

@myjoy08: "I don't wanna wait in vain for your love". Biko, PM me if the answer has some issues. Thanks Sir.

Hi, I appreciate your response but i'll prefer Stockbrokers that are attached(subsidiary) to a bank. The issue here is the ones that are reliable and can be trusted.
Once again, thank you. Let me conduct a little research on morgan stockbrokers
