My way of reasoning is very sound, so take the crap out.. Do you know what's the meaning of' giving up'? If by any chance so, I give up on Nigeria... That's is not too hard to comprehend, I think.

It's not difficult to comprehend but it's not understandable since God will come down to do everything for you.

Miss Woman. I believe in God, but that's personal... I only ask God to bless my hustle, and I'm doing fine.. So no worries... I'm happy in my way. Thanks for the concern.

Lol, at least if his enemies covered their tracks well, they wouldn't be found guilty. That's how Tinubu escaped his wrath too by covering his loots.

if he had the intention to release the report, he'd have done so after 48hr of reception of it. He had to order it's release just after Buhari threatened probe into the missing billions.
buharis threat holds no water....may I remind you that proceeds from the nnpc and oil and gas helped him to carry out his campaign succesfully....where does he think all the monies that was used for his campaign came from?....he wants to come and probe like he fell from heaven...jonathan has provided the report let them hang everybody if they want to....

Watch out and see if the public would have much access to imformation again when buhari steps in...

you are deviating from the issue on ground. Did you hear anywhere they say the missing billion was used to fund buhari's campaign? Buhari gov't is going to be the most transparent in the history of Nigeria.

Full probe of all the parastatals, ministries, customs, NNPC, CBN, immigration and defence.

These people looted without any conscience, this was/is greed plus undiluted evil. The annoying part is that the president, dame and dieziani will be used to judge everyone in the south south.

I went to bed angry last night because of this, still woke up angry.

I don't know if y'all saw this before proceeding to the report proper, but this caught my attention:

Abeg those in the know about auditing and accounting jargons should kindly help explain the import of the highlighted part of the above image.

Caveat? Disclaimer? Or their way of saying "we have no idea what we are doing, therefore, this is an effort in futility?"

Looks to me like PwC already discredited their own report before even actually penning it.

Nobody is talking about CBN not opening its doors for audit. That was because the whistle blower is himself covered in poo. He is the CRIMINAL emir of kano. But I'm sure buhari would never probe him guess you know why. Nigerians please seek for the truth no matter your political affiliation cos that's the only way we can be set free. To much bias flying around.

An auditor is allowed to disclaim an opinion for a scope limitation. Means when they are denied access to financial statements or records. They cannot give piecemeal opinions. They did their job as is required. You can see that where they highlighted missing or suspicious amounts. That page you are reading is the report and it disclaims an opinion because based on the evidence they had access to, they cannot claim to have audited, reviewed or examined NNPC's books as that would be a lie. They also cannot reliably state that NNPC's records are reliable. NNPC covered their tracks well so no mention of fraud, they probably doctored enough financial statements. An auditors job is to give an opinion in an audit. If they disclaim it means they were denied access to records important to giving an opinion. This is an indictment on NNPC. NNPC lied that their books were audited. Lmao.

Since you started commenting on this thread you have not made any sense. All your statements have been based on shoddy sentiments. From applauding Gej for releasing a report under pressure. Rather than being a leader and sacking those responsible, he denied the allegations, claimed "America will know", and rather than commend Sanusi, he removed him from office.

To your claim of Niger Delta being better off being on their own, reality is that we are not united within ourselves. Even scorlarships have catchment areas within the same state..some communites are given preference. You are made to go and bring local govt identification...i also served in rivers state and was told that everyone must teach...yet people from rivers state that served in other states were allowed to serve in companies.

As God will have it, i work in the oil industry, and i can tell you for a fact that the PIB is not the answer either. Just take a look at the indigenous companies, compare them with the international counterparts and you will see that the difference is clear. Also look at the international ones that have put nigerians at the top...and the results are clear to see. Thats where u start seeing contract staffs everywhere and delayed salaries. Greed takes over..they care more about the money they make rather than the service they render or the welfare of their workers. Find out about lonestar and seawolf to mention but a few.

The solution to all this is for everyone to do what is right. Everyone should be judged based on competence and not tribe or religion. If something is wrong, we should not say because its our brother or sister that is involved, then it becomes right.

Lets call a spade a spade..only then can we move forward.

To be candid, this is not corruption. I now understand why GEJ said stealing is not corruption.

Sincerely, there should be a bigger word for this scandal. Maybe MEGALOMANIACCORRUPTOCRACY --- a brazen and crazy act of never seen befoe level of corruption.

Stealer Oduah's scandal is stealing.

Pension Fraud is Corruption.

This is definitely not corruption, but a sheer devilish act of bloodless murdering of Nigerians and a gang rap.ing of the Nigerian state.

how do you expect a president that all these happened under his nose to punish Stealer Oduah or the Pension Fraud actors or the Civil Service Ghost Workers culprits.

You forget to read history, consulting firms are the scourge of the corporate world/ corrupt governments all over the world.
The huge companies they audit annually/bi-annually collapse all the time, after they must have given them clean bill of health!

This report should be taken offline because if truly nigerian Youths understand a tenth of the import of this Report, it is enough for them to give the "Alu treatment" to Jonathan, his Ministers and the people at NNPC and its subsidiaries.

But trust me, most of them dont know the cause of their failures in life, they think it is because they are not yet lucky to "hit it" in one online scam or because their "hustle" never reach! shocked shocked
I bet you, the average American or European Youth does not put-in half of the effort you put into your struggle but they excel and succeed....more than you by a mile!

These people in Power (Jonathan and his Ministers) and the thieves in the nations "golden egg nest" (NNPC and Its Subsidiaries) are the ones holding down your future.

Go figure if you can.... or keep shouting tribalism and Bigotry on Nairaland. wink undecided

Can't be better said!
