The name of this thread shows that it is not restricted to any single platform. We follow the money. Just that it is easier for a newbie to break into the freelancing industry through Freelancer than probably other sites.
Honestly, every basic information you need to start with Freelancer is already here. Read from page 0 to 58. It will be easier if you ask specific questions after you have gone through the pages. Good luck

. Just like he said guys are busy executing projects for clients. Go through the whole thread and ask questions where you need clarification and someone would definitely answer you.
