Where is the technology? the stupid ogbunigwe? lolz. grow up. those where contraptions where killed more biafrans soldiers than the Nigerian Army.
It was that sane "silly contraption" that was used to wipe out almost an entire division of Nigerian soldiers with all its armada of military convoys in the historic Abagana ambush( biggest ambush in the Civil war and among the most devastating in African war history)...go ask your grandpa or whomever in your family fought in the war about the infamous Ogbunigwe and what it did to Nigerian soldiers.

It became a regrettable genocide because of you refuse to surrender when it was apparent that you were losing the war. your General himself ran away leaving starving women and children

Just wanted to remind all, that war is not what we play on video games or with mere rants......Its entails and costs.

Nonsense. We don't deal with hypotheticals here. Yoruba could have, would have doesn't mean anything. What matters is that Yoruba soldiers sent Biafra on a permanent vacation.
Ojukwu knew the ethnic composition of Nigeria when he lied about having the largest army in Africa.

I knew goofiness is inherent but it should not be a matter of public display. Biafrans fought Nigerian armed forces not Yoruba. If the said fight was even between eastern and northern region, we would not be having this debate talk less of western region of Nigeria.

Bros the West was not ready for war, they didn't have the balls like Ojukwu. I think now with hindsight the South realize we would have been better off.
No, the west won't let the east dictate for them. You haven't answered why Ojukwu brought his demented war to yoruba land, killing innocent yorubas on the street.
Ojukwu is a coward and badstard.

War is inevitable hence must be fought when absolutely necessary. There were cases of malnutrition during USA civil. Yet USA was not totally blockaded as was Biafra.

Despite the blockade I have never seen a picture of a scrawny looking biafran soldier. Meaning Ojukwu and his soldiers ate all the food while women and children starved. So much for fighting for the people.

There is nothing wrong feeling good about oneself. Biafra was a force to reckon. Entire Yoruba, Ijo, Edo, Eshan, Urhobo, Itsekiri, Ibira, Hausa, Fulani, kanuri, Igala, Idoma, Tiv, Angas, Nupe, Ogoja etc including USSR, Britain, Niger, Chad, Cameroon, Canada, Australia, Egypt and Arab league’s of nation had to sweat for more than two years to subdue tiny Biafra. Yoruba would have capitulated at the first sight of a drunken soldier from northern region of Nigeria. It is true that cowards die many times before their actual death.
Playing hide and seek game, eventually ran away in an ashawo attire.

Yoruba land and its demented inhabitants took the war to eastern region in July 6, 1967 via midwestern region. There is no bigger coward in Nigeria than Yoruba. I urge you to reread the interview as to get whiff of the disdainful treatment handed to Yoruba by their masters from northern region of Nigeria.

We read the interview and the most significant information from it is the fact that about 100 "cowardly" Yoruba soldiers took out a battalion of Biafrans.

Why would you not believe the crap from the goofy character since you believed Lt Col Francis Fajuiyi begged to die with Gen Ironsi. It was the same Osun propaganda Yoruba are capable of generating. It is funny that 8th Battalion under Major Ochefu had become 129 Nigerian army personals of shaky Yoruba natives.

You're a fo0l.
Your people were the first to plot a coup, killing leaders of other tribes (Akintola, Ahmadu Bello, Balewa e.t.c) and left yours. You people also had the stupid audacity to mock the grieving Hausa on their soil.
However, when the same fate was meted on your leaders, you cried foul and declared biafra. What a bunch of sadistic selfish fo0ls.
Infact, your biafra would have been given to you because as a matter of fact, SE contribute little to Nigeria resources but no, you have to mark Lagos, Delta, Akwa Ibom and others for your biafra. Thieves!
I'm not sorry that you lot died in millions, I'm only sad about the innocents among you.

Why are you so bitter? The war ended half a century ago. I have no problem at all if one Yoruba soldier fed with amala is worth a 100 biafrans on the battlefield. That is life.

Feeling good about yourself and self delusion are two different things. If yoruba wants secession, we will go about it in a rational focused way so as to minimize casualties. You are your deluded tribesmen are still nursing the wounds till today. Wakeup to reality. I am proud to be a Yoruba man.

Calculating on how to partake on the share of another man's resources(oil) that is why yoruba pple are insisting on one nigeria becos yorubas are nothing without our oil if you doubt me, ask dangote.
Military wise, yorubas are nothing but cowards that cannot and will never fight a war because they will not survive it that is the fact.
You forgot Ondo, a state that produce 15% of Nigeria oil. It's the second largest oil producing region after South/s. It's also the second largest bitumen producing in the world after Canada.
That's not to talk of our cocoa and timbers.
Oyo and Lagos are one of the largest metropolis cities in Nigeria, making good trade exchange with countries outside Nigeria. Lagos also has seaports which genetrates enormous revenue to the country.
Ogun is an industrialized state, with the largest number of industries in Nigeria. Not to forget Ogun's Aja okuta that manufacture steel and iron ore in Nigeria.
Ogun and Lagos are also potential oil producing states.
The only western states not too endowed are Ekiti, Osun and Kwara states. But that should be of no worry because the revenues generated by others is enough for the whole western state.
So bro, don't worry about us, worry about your SE.

Abeg, get over yourself jo! Do i look like i give a da.mn whether you agree with my statement or not. The fact of this discourse is that your "gallant and courageous" Biafran Liberation Front-touted by your hollow chest-beating warlord as "the greatest army in black africa" was stopped at ore by a hurriedly assembled group of infantary men led by a yoruba man. How you choose to deal with this fact is of no consequence to me.

The way you guys speak from both sides of your mouths is legendary... you are now twisting and turning like a green snake in green grass... why did you lie that the 176 soldiers were Yorubas?

Trying to now deflect and revert to what the main subject of the thread is because I called you out on trying to exaggerate... 176 yorubas ko... 176 cowards ni!

You are empty barbarians. You have never lived in towns before the white men came and found you naked and gave you those baby hats. You villages existed merely for the Efik to harvest slaves from and you can tlk of bravery funny cannibal savages!
Cowards do not build empires that extend all the way to Ghana. But having fought serious wars for centuries we know there is an art to fighting without fighting.

In your village jousts it was the Ibo custom to even casualties up after your little skirmishes and so when you came into Nigeria you thought it would be one of those pillow fights .Now you know better

War is not an exercise where you kill 11 on one side and 19 on the other and the losing side makes up the difference in gamely way. Starving people to death was how we fought for centuries. We went and surrounded a town till they died of starvation and surrendered.

That is War 101 which you learnt at very high cost

You are minding those bare chested hamlet square wrestlers.

The best war their forefathers ever fought was fighting over a lady in their hamlet square., while our forefathers were busy acquiring land, expanding our frontiers and building an empire for themselves and their descendants. Our forefathers were building towns that are still standing up till today, whereas theirs only built with stick and grasses.

How do you expect such people to understand the basics of war? They always believe carrying cassava stick to face T72 tanks indicates how brave they are. Sheer dumbos.
