During research on skilled immigration I saw both skilled independent and skilled sponsored. it was written that u can apply for skilled sponsored when u don't meet up the points for skilled independent. they said u can either be sponsored by a relative resident there or a territory in the government. I want to know if u have any info about this to help clarify my confusion on how u can be sponsored by a relative.

The post is quite long so i won't quote it. I can identify with the op. I wrote IELTS for the 3rd time on 30th April in order to get 10 points, and eagerly expecting the results today. I was evidently spurred on by Buhari's 3rd time victory.

3. ?

I have vowed not to write IELTS again if i don't make it a third time and opt for PTE instead.

Thanks everyone. Wish you the best as well. The waiting is almost over in Jesus name. @ fendorf: I declared 4.2m. But My recent promotion last year showed quite a good sum of monthly pay. Don't see any reason why I have to declare all my asset. My agent said I should declare at least the amount for wify and 2 children, about 13500aud. But I intentionally added more to take care of the flight. SVP does not need to show financial statements unless you have dependents. Take care

Everybody...praise the Lord with me a second time! We just got our 190 grant. We decided to apply for the 190 to save us childcare costs, rather than waiting 2 yrs on the 489. I had given up, especially after receiving the delay mail.

I heard you had a bit of snow down in Tasmania, and that the weather is in the single digits....I don't envy you guys o. It's about 15degrees here in Townsville, very windy...not exactly enjoyiong it. It's like someone has the AC on the coldest, then directed a high powered fan at me.

Hi,
After the wedding, did you do newspaper advert of change of name? If you did, include it in you application with your marriage certificates. And yes you can apply for Svp or any other kind of visa with your wife so long as you have enough funds in your account as specified by DIBP.

Asinnn. That childcare cost was even the main thing. Cos working full time and paying for fulltime daycare no b beans. Change of rules was not even my problem, cos it applies to apps made after the rules were changed.
