Meanwhile that is the same type of snake I saw in a bush path on a moonless night while serving in Kwara. I don't even know the voice that asked me to buy torchlight that day. As I was going home in d dark stumbling upon logs of wood along d way, Something just asked me to put on the torch and flashed the light on d path. Immediately I did, I saw a long green object that looked like a snake so I decided to avoid it. As I passed behind it, it brought out its head ready to strike... I vex come dey look for stick to use hit it. But d idea occur to me that what if there is another snake where I bend to pick up a stick. I might be bitten by a snake... It was so dark that I could hardly see. And to make matter worse, the closest hospital to d village is 2hours away... No one told me b4 I took to my heel.

The first time i saw a life snake other than at the Zoo was a day i will never forget.Thats was about 6 to 7 years ago.I followed my dad to supervise his site not too far from our home in my hometown and as he was supervising with the engineer,i looked back and saw a snake coming fast towards me in a zig zag manner.Ohhh my God.I ran for almost 2 kilometers shouting before my fathers assistant and the driver could get hold of me.I stayed where i was until they brought the car there hun!.I have never been to that property till today.I ran faster than Usain bolt.

It was like a movie this evening when this strongheaded snake crawled into my room. I unconsciously dropped the call I was on and ran for a big stick,
Thanks to my friend who was around and noted the snake's spot and we started the attack, even when I pinned the belly to the wall with the long stick, and my friend trying to crush the head with another long stick, this snake was actually fighting us back and dodging every hits, and threatening us with its tongue.. .. I mean, that snake was so smart and trained (if it actually was) because it took us Time to actually get the head, even when the other parts were hit and the belly pinned to the wall, it still struggled and fought_ didn't give up. I was almost pitying it sef, it was like a seasonal movie o and we were sweating just to get the head
But alas! It was down and I say thank God I saw the snake and thank God it wasn't hiding under the chair or something, that would be catastrophic living with a snake.

:oIts not surprising as I can see so much grass behind the house. You might not be that lucky next time (to spot the snake before it approaches you), so you need to prevent that. Clear off the grass aroung your home, I mean neat clearing; snakes, especially green ones suddenly become un comfortable upon stepping on spots that contrast with their colour (cannot hide them) and hence try to find their way back. De snake long sha...
