Yes, just an ordinary hand written or typed letter that will be addressed to the Nigerian embassy. You and your husband have to sign the letter. If you are using Eddy, he will give you sample of the letter then you can just edit it and both you and hubby will sign.

Hi ozycy please kindly send me a sample letter of the consent letter for the Nigerian Visa, you already have my email address, but I will send you a mail now. Thanks

Not always true. June 15th-Sept 15th is considered peak period for airlines, so you might not get cheaper tickets in August. If your trip is after Sept 15, you might be lucky cos sometimes airlines have promos for immediately after the peak period, although those tickets usually have way too many restrictions.

Also remember that the dollar rate can still go up and ticket prices will be affected.

From my experience from mid august tickets are cheaper. Then they go up again nov

Greetings nairaland family! It's been a long while. Tried logging in though a few times but couldn't. Sorry for not replying some Pm that I am just seeing.

Well, I have gone on my missionary journey and returned safely. To the Glory of God and the valuable infos I got here, everything went smoothly but for a few minor hitches orchestrated by the devil but GOD WIN.
Well, I traveled via KLM with Houstom as POE. Flight was long as I had 5 hours layover in schipol but the inflight experience was great.

Travelled with my toddler and the stroller I had with me saved me loads of stress.

POE was brief and smooth. Went to the secondary questioning though. They only asked how much I had on me and Dr.'s correspondence. They then took the doctor's correspondence I tendered and went in for like 2 min. Came back and told me to go but ensure I keep all my receipts cos they want to see thwm when next I come.
Then went for agriculture, told them I had food. Was hoping they will seize my plenty indomie chicken, Palm oil, knorr chicken, cocoyam, dried fish, stock fish etc but to my surprise, I was asked to go after they passed my bag through the scanner.

For accommodation, I ended up being hosted by Dotfak as I couldn't get anyone to share an apartment I wanted to rent. Dotfak is a great guy, did everything he could to make his guest happy. In fact he became a brother. He gave me loads of infos and tips that saved me money and stress as well as help revive my spiritual life. I would recommend him any day.

For birthing, I used Dr FF and Oakbend.
Dr. FF service was ok but not great. Oakbend service was fantastic. Felt like I was a special guest in a five star hotel.
My bills are as follows.
Dr FF
OBgyn fees: 1, 920
Initial visit: 300
Lab: 380 ( He accepted all the test I did cos I had my Nigerian DR refer me to him via email with my test results

For hospital:
Oakbend: 2300
NICS: 335
Brown and associates for mother and baby: 80
Pediatrician visit after discharge: 55

That's it friends. Thanks again and pls don't mind any typo as I am typing in a rush cos my LO and his big brother are a handful.

When you do not know ask people who know. He is a board certified family physician and his practice includes Obstetrics and Child Care.

It means that he specializes in Obstetrics and Child Care. Contact doctors in US to explain things to you since you are ignorant. US based Doctors in the house please step in

What did you serve. Tarnishing a good mans image?

You said he neglected your friend that was why i brought up that incident that he rushed to my sisters house to deliver my baby to show that he is not as bad as you are painting him to be!

What is your business if i paid or not? Can see you specialise in ameboism.... this matter you are carrying on your head didn't even happen to you. I am sure if i tell you want happened afterwards you will add salt and pepper and start broadcasting it. Sorry you do not qualify...

I don't think it's proper to tarnish the man's image whatsoever I've heard good things about him though I didn't use him he just delivered my childhood friend's baby last week. If you don't feel comfortable using him then by all means find another option. I was just going to talk about the uk and how it's midwives that usually take deliveries.....
Sometimes, we take things personally. It's good to let people know stuff without shoving it in their faces... its up to them to decide whether they'll still use that doctor or not. And bad experiences come along once in a while...
I might consider him for my third and last sha. .

But ,I also know of someone who had a very unpleasant experience with him, got abandoned mid way cos of complications [/b]and had to go to the ER and is still counting the massive cost.

I read the bolded portion of your post and i keep laughing because i imagine the doctor "Packing his stethoscope and running out of the labor room because he saw palaver wey pass am" grin grin grin.

I dont know this DR from anywhere o but i can tell you there are 2 sides to a story so we should be careful in passing verdict. Did your friend press charges against him after this misdemeanor? .To every Dr there will always be negative and positive feedback, infact if you follow only the negative reviews on health-grade i swear you may abandon your own doctor or hospital. So let the matter go since @ejisky is cool with him.

In this forum, I always remember 4 names
1. Phema: gives answers and helps everyone in any little way she can.(often wish I could put a face to her name)
2. Just wise: Mr administrator
3. TVegas: the man everyone praises for been in touch with birthing and babies. Helps in any way he can.
4: nefertitiram: the lady who answers everyone(advice and quarrel alike) .. For every quarrel in this forum she contributes. Doubt if na pregnancy hormones.

Congrats, its an interesting thread indeed, lol. As for Phema's face (aka burden of proof, aka iyalode) just imagine a no-nonsense magistrate court judge with thick googles.

I booked emirates with the 22 hrs layover where dey gave me and my party each complimentary hotel accommodation (separate rooms). . 4 xce meals tickets. .n visas. .we can actually do a quick still into dubai city while wifey rests thru b4 we do the direct 16hrs journey to dallas.
My take us, if u are not booking the direct flight from naij..a, tk one with long enough layover were u can really rest n refresh will b4 continuing ur journey. .by d way, dubai dallas n abj dallas is just an additional 2 hrs.

@bbaby & @tvegas,

I had decided to drop the Drs issue because its not really my business at the end of the day, but the human part of me tried to ignore but couldn't ... Anyone who needs God's blessing will never go around "tarnishing" another's image. The judgement reserved for such a person is better imagined..

Wish i could go into deeper details about this particular case but the person in question is not an internet kind of person and will definitely take exceptions. But....

It is wrong to receive payment for SERVICES you know you are incapable of rendering and dodging the person when the time to "deliver"(pun intended) came

Not everyone has the same experience to share,There are some people that dont speak well of Dr Fagbohun despite being the darling of this thread.

lol..... your illustration is classic! lwkmd! Thanks a million! There are always two sides to a story. Like you said to every doctor there will be negatives and positive feedback. Mine is/was very very positive and I cannot come here cos someone says he is bad and say he is bad! I have delivered two babies through him and no issues whatsoever. I am pregnant again and I am not considering any other doctor.....

If you do not have enough information please do not come here and start dem say dem say..... there are always two sides to a story. Initially it was that he is not licensed to practise now he is not an obgn! Make una fear God!
