No! I can't cheat on Chima! I was talking to some friends and some of us have home based Naija men and Abroad based Naija men....with different experiences. I have dated both and noticed differences because to me Naija men are Naija men regardless of their home location but I was mistaken.

I was told by a Nigerian American that there are differences in thinking and attitudes. The culture is slightly different as well. I was curious to see opinions and see if others think there are any differences.

What do you think as an Abroadbaser?
oh okay... i almost had an heart attack for a minute ya know... You are not allowed to leave ma broda

Environment does influence our actions hence it's expected to see abroad based brothers embrace liberal stance as far as relationships are concerned.

I am really surprise that you couldn't answer your question base on your personal life experience
There are few factors to consider
1. Number of Year abroad
2 The first person u lived with--
3. Type of friends ( did u just keep Nigerian Friend)
4. Did u date all type of people with different culture
5 Your age at the time you arrived abroad
All the above factors
Yes, I am 70% different from the time I left home to today
I still have some of my Nigerian values

I am only asking because I was told Abroad based Naima men are different than home based Naima men...I was saying there are some differences but at the end of the day...they are still Naima men.

I was just curious of the opinions that may differ or share similarities. Just a topic..no vexing bro!

Lol it's nothing to do with tradition we have no tradition teaching us how to have sex lol
It's more to do with exposure. Nigerian men are very open and it seems surprisingly learned on how to please a woman. And they often take pride in it. (Not all let's not forget women are 2nd rate citizens to these people) but from what I'm getting from movies and just talking to guys back home they know how to please and aren't all about thrusting and hopping off.

It's all part of it. That thing deserved to be pounded silly especially when it's all wet and dripping like a cloth soaked in the rain. wink

You can't be romantic and not pounding it shege too .From my experience there are times when you ladies want it pounded like a sex monster just got unchained. grin

1)The difference is the way the respect is delivered so it ain't a Nigerian thing bro
2)Education is key everywhere. There is a wide disparity gap in pay for skilled and unskilled employment so young people are encouraged to embrace education so as to secure their future
3)Holding the door for people is not an abroad thing. It has something to do with your values as a person.
4)Again doing more chores is simply because labour is expensive. Absolutely nothing to do with culture except you are referring to it with respect to relationships.
5)This is a tribe thing and it’s prevalent within the Yoruba community

Are you Home Based?

I think there's a price on sex back home where here that isn't the case. So I will call naija girls everything but easy cheesy in comparison anyways.

In fact with that mentality I often shock my friends when I ask them why they've slept with a particular person.
