Yes. A person who is a PhD candidate would not write like that. Besides he's lying about getting a work visa. Which kind of work visa did he get in 3 months? While still on student visa? I'd like to know.
Absolutely !

Yes, Germany is better to study than the UK in terms of lower cost of living and most importantly for someone who intend to settle abroad permanently after schooling they stand a better chance of regularising their status in Germany than in Britain. All they need do is get a German girl pregnant and there you have your residence.

But in the UK the immigration laws are more stricter and stringent and it takes more than a miracle to secure residence at the moment. However, German education system is more arduous compared to the UK as one attend lectures 5days a week in most cases while in the UK is 2-3 days a week on average. This gives one extra flexibility to work more hours and earn more.

What everyone must know is that they need a reliable sponsor to support them on average a 50k monthly during their course duration if they want to pay more focus on studying and live a better life. It's near impossible to combine both work and study abroad without financial support from sponsors.
there you have it, the truth and nothing but the truth!

The other guy (golddust6000) gave €45 figure. Let me repeat again...studying in Germany is not free, for you to get a visa you need that €8000 in blocked account, €80 monthly insurance is about 204K a year. That is a lot of money.

Some other stuff you mentioned regarding job are exaggerated

Ok so you believe i'm exaggerating right? fine. So let's put things into statistical perspective here, how many UK Master's grad are roaming the streets of Lagos without a job? and how many Graduates of German University do you see roaming around naija without jobs? I have many friends and cousins that studied in the Uk and are back home with no job, dem just dey for house.

Now i'm not trying to degrade the UK academic system, it's one of the best in the world, but the visa schemes they have for international students ain't encouraging. The German economy is MASSIVE, hence the need for skilled people, by not asking for tuition from foreign students they automatically attract the best students form every country! If you can scale through the admission process to get in you must be good: Thousands of people apply to study in Germany and they pick the best applicants. I wouldn't say the same for Uk, i know a friend from Lautech that finished with a third class and went straight to do a Masters in Uk, she grad with 2.1 there. That is never possible in Germany, you will read like if you wanna die!

About the health insurance stuff, the guy that said that above 29 years of age you pay 45 euros is very correct. Here is how it works, if you are less than 30 years of age you must use the state health insurance, it is called AOK, that one you pay 80 euros, but if you are 30 and above you are free to use private insurances, some are even as low as 25 euros. this is because they are private and the make their prices as competitive as possible. please dont argue about this one o, because you are obviously not in Germany, and I wouldn't argue about the Uk health system since i'm not there and knows nothing about it.

My advice to anyone wanting to run an msc programme abroad, dont go to the UK..going to the UK is a waste of time and cash...rather go to countries where tuition is less expensive and you stand a chance to be gainfully employed in the country...imagine after spending so much in that useless UK you still return back to nigeria to look for jobs like a mad man.. angry

Baba you get time oooo.. No follow that guy argue jare.. He clearly has limited knowledge of current happening in Germany..
So after making German Unis tuition free, he still expects the German government to pay students stipends which will cover their housing, insurance and other miscellaneous before we can say German Uni are ''Tuition free''?.. shocked shocked

Never rely on the 20Hrs Job at all, make sure you pay all your tuition fees and reserve of at least £500 / month for your upkeeping and accommodation.
Otherwise you will enslave yourself and may not come out with good grade.

You seem to know much about Germany. please kindly shed some light on the job availability for undergraduate students (be it Internship, or street hustle).

Do you think a student can hustle his way out to meet his bills (insurance, housing, feeding e.t.c)

Yes sir. One of the greatest lessons I've learnt in life is that I still have a lot to learn.
I dumped my UK Adm and requested for the refund of my money before it's too late. I'm glad where I am today. If u have the luxury of choice, run away from UK unis. Selfish people grin
