A woman was having problems with her husband, she believed her husband doesn't love her.
She went to a Native doctor to make her husband start loving her, she told the native doctor that her husband is hot tampered and doesn't treat her as a wife.

The Native doctor after listening to the woman ; told her that he needed to consult with the gods for them to reveal to him what she must do to win back the heart of her husband. After the Native doctor finished with his incantations ; he turned to the woman and said "woman your case is a strong one and the only way to get your husband love you is that you must provide the breast milk of a lioness".

He told her to look for a nursing lioness with curbs and collect the breast milk and bring it to him so that he can use it to prepare a powerful portion that will make her husband love her with all his heart.

The woman thanked the baba and left. She started to make inquiries about where she will see a nursing lioness with curbs, after many days of searching she met a hunter who told her that he knows where she will find a lioness with curbs and even promised to take her there but warned her that the lioness is very aggressive, dangerous and will pounce on any one that comes close to her or her curbs.
She told the hunter to leave the part of getting the breast milk to her. The hunter took her very far into the forest and showed her the lioness and her curbs from a far distance. She went back home and went to the market and bought different kinds of meat, spices, sweet seasoning. She went home and prepared a very delicious meal then headed for the forest.

She was about getting close to the lioness when it ran towards her and she put down the delicious meal she prepared and fled. She watched from a distance as the lioness and her curbs started to eat the delicious meal she prepared.

She did this constantly for days, weeks, months until the lioness and the curbs will follow her usual path to meet her on the way if she didn't bring the meal to them the usual time she normally comes . She continued until she was able to win the trust of the lioness and her curbs, she was now getting close to them and touching them while they eat of her delicious meal. By getting close to the lioness she was able to extract the breast milk from her and put it in a container.

She went back to the Native doctor and handed over the lioness breast milk to him; the baba was very surprised and asked the woman how she was able to get the breast milk. The narrated to the native doctor all she did and went through to get to the lioness and get the beast milk, the baba was very impressed and happy with the woman and now said to her "woman if you know all you did to get to the lioness and her curbs go and do same to your husband and he will love you with all his heart, he will cherish, protect and will always be there for you.

introvert is partially right ... the op is the cause of her problems sha, she knew all those faults and red flags yet she dabbled into it in the name of marriage or getting married hoping he will change.

I gave my opinion based on what I felt and reaf coz I was so pained, (just one year of mariage) the husbands side is irrelevant now as we don't know it.
Funny enough many those who insulted me ended up not giving the OP any advice.
As for the insult. The husby isn't a nairalander. Rule 2.

Maybe rule 2 will be updated to cover family members grin

@OP; It's very obvious you went ahead to blossom a "TOXIC RELATIONSHIP" into marriage with the false promise of a change of character by your husband. Unfortunately, characters don't just change because it's in the DNA of a human. Only God has the power to change any man's character and that is usually through salvation.
As a result of the legal union, you just have to stay and endure and pray for him..."FOR BETTER FOR WORSE." If you went into marriage with the right knowledge, you wouldn't have married him because you would have looked beyond all the glitz and razzmatazz. Am sorry but you are already in!

First my husband has a very bad temper which I knew even before we got married and he said he will change but he never laid a finger on me before the marriage, he is always angry over any little thing, he doesn't allow me associate with people even our neighbours and he keeps to himself that anytime I want to talk to him he will say I am disturbing him and he hardly talks to me, he doesn't believe in someone falling sick and hardly and he said sorry he is not in his dictionary. He became physical almost immediately after marriage and he says am getting strong with the beatings.
He uses words that are so hurtful for me and shouts on me all the time to the extent of him always banging the calls on me, I select the words I use in order not to upset him. I cry everyday and I have lost weight though I have reported to my parents and they have been advicing him and he will say he will change but continues the same attitude when nobody is there. I have been praying and patient with him thinking all will be well but it's getting worse everyday. I am so confused and sad.
Please advice me on what to do.

This lady she is so nice and generous to everyone but she can blame you for her own mistakes. And she does not heed to another persons opinion. I pick race.

Anything you cannot ensure in friendship/ courtship, please do not endure it in marriage.
