I just don't like any argument configured on ethnic, religious and regional coloration.
If you had based your argument on facts that they're people ahead of him, there's no way I'd have come at you the way I did. As crass and intemperate as I was with my reply to you, I still managed to draw your attention to the part of the report that says "until his appointment, he was a deputy director in the department". Again, if a director can't be succeeded by his deputy, then the aim of 'deputizing' has been defeated.
