No matter how big the gap will be, but South Africa will prevail. We have minerals which investors wants but for now they shun South Africa because of strikes and the political turmoil we have been having concerning the our mineral resources. South-Africa's GDP per capita is $6,000, however looking at the numbers individually, South-African whites have a GDP per capita of $30,000 while Asians have a GDP per capita of $21,000.

Pakistani JF-17s would eat up SAAF Gripen, their F-16 Block 52s are an overkill. They are Eurofighter standard.

It is insanely expensive to send Gripens half way around the world, with crew, supporting personell, fuel, etc. That is basic logic. Hence they took the opportunity in 2012 when the Gripens were still in Sweden.
