You are quite right. He said the hospital is really short staffed and he has been working round the clock (making good money too).

This question of "do you have friends or family in the UK", I answered NO because (1) none of my immediate family lives in the UK. (2) I don't know if any of my relatives live there...my mum said she is not aware but that it seems our family doctor's son is still in the UK, he is a friend to my bro, I rili don't pally with them (3) one of my fmr Uni friends is doing her Masters. I tot she had finished but she hasnt

Now, was my answer correct? That is NO. Am sponsoring myself. My first appl was turned down. Is der any need to explain all these in the re-application

You don't need any vaccination generally. Unless you have some personal medical concerns, which you can discuss with your physician before traveling. But there is no law that require any form of vaccination from you.

Did you upload scan copy of your documents as well ? or you only fill form online only then submit your hard-copy at the embassy ?

Also did you pay any additional charges (Like the one of 18k they use to mention here) at the embassy ?

I will appreciate the response...

Thanks

After filling my online form, i paid online and choose VI centre unfortunately the only date available on 29th June was 10th July. That was like two weeks, i wished i had chosen Ikeja where you pay 18k. Even at VI centre i was offered to pay 120 pounds and get a response in five days but i turned it down.

Good morning, i got a mail from the Sheffield office that a decision has been made on my AP (June 26) that i should go to the centre to pick up my doc with 3-5days. I just received another mail (TLScontact) that my docs and decision will be sent to the UK Visa Centre where i applied and will be contacted by email over the next few days.
Should i wait for the mail because i planned going there today, or i should just go afterall today is the 5th day. Please has anyone been in this kind of situation? How long did it take to be the ready for pick-up. I applied at the VI

One more question please. I have a friend who previously did a masters in the UK. Do you think it's possible for him to get another visa for a second masters?

Send them email, they don't give time limit after winning an appeal.

Hello house. So I'm going to do my Mres in the UK this September. I was wondering if there are possible routes of attaining settlement towards the end of my studies without marriage. I know the rules are more stringent but i have been to the UK before and i like the environment and people. Please i will appreciate honest comments. Thanks.

Only if you are lucky to get a job otherwise its almost imposible.

He can't do another masters, it has to be a course higher then masters level

Hi Justwise...
What if I don't have any pictures with him?
Plus my uncle mentioned that my mom's cert can suffice... That true??
blessedfavoured:

your uncles payslip
mortgage/tenancy agreement
house valuation or something to state how many rooms in his house
tax certificate
birth certificate for your uncle, parent and yourself
pictures
print out any conversation on social media (not important imo)
any pictures of y'all together doesn't matter if they are old

If you are traveling together then apply together, i really do not see the need to apply separately.

Thanks so much Justwise.
So I can apply for 2 years renewal and he applies for 6 months as a first timer.
I am grateful.

Lastly, I see there is a new process ongoing different than the 2013 process. Kindly direct on how to go about it, probably a website, dat should suffice.

Thanks in advance.

pls my sister is abt to apply for uk tier 4 visa, she has used my dad as sponsor and he has given her is bank statement.

Now my worry, he hasnt transacted in the account since februaury this year. however the money in the account is very suffcicient for her tution and upkeep.

You knw hw dormiciary account is, it is nt something we use daily, hwoever the account is active.

Someone told her she may be rejected for this reason, i will like to knw if this is true based on exeprience.

I have tried convincing my dad but he is too strong headed to accept.

what do the people in the house think

i beg to differ. i got 2 years visa in my final semester in uni. I was done with exams self, all i had left was project defense.

I said not always true, you where lucky doesn't mean someone else would be,what ill advise a person who might be in that position to do is show evidence of coming back 4 nysc or employment after sch, have seen several cases whre ppl got refused for that.that's my work u

EmmySparky:
am 22 presently...am willing to go through the vigorous process...how else would u advise I go about this...she is my mum's younger sister...and we are close and keep in touch regularly...

Sincerly its not possible as you are above 18 and the relationship is not close enough, even if she is you blood sis its not possible, except you are below 18.the only person who can fight for you if you are above 18 is your mum or dad,you cn also settle via ancentry visa if one of any of your grand parent are uk citizen. Also the study process doesn't work any more as you will have to leave the uk after you finish your student visa, before you can seek employment,it was recently passed.
However there's is a very slimmmm chance which often than non doesn't work at ur age but still possible, that is if your aunt can adopt u,and that means u hav to show she has been responsible your your training,u have no one or ties here in Nig etc,she has to be finacially capable to take care of u,check the uk home office website for more requirment.
