Mehn, it's hard to choose, especially when relocating to North America is utmost on my mind right now. Our money keeps becoming valueless with time that N20m doesn't look so attractive anymore. I guess only N1b can make me choose to stay back.

Vast majority of Nigerians living abroad don't even have #20 million equivalent in their bank account after many donkey years living abroad. Most Nigerians will relocate back home for # 20 million, even most Americans do not have access to $100,000 cash, they live paycheck to paycheck and on credit.

1. I had already said the U.S will always give you options and it depends on you and how much you want to succeed.

2. I did not attend a community college and i did not attend an ivy league. Not everyone will get into yale and havard. But i did go to a reputable institution for my masters.

3. I signed an initial 4 year contract as a soldier upon which i recieved so much goodies/benefits/perks/ including 120k for school, that i decided to make it permanent. Hence, why i said it depends on you and your choices.

4. Unlike Nigeria where you have to pay out of pocket, you can get a loan to go to school.

5. America gives you multiple choices.

6. I hope you realize 20mil is just 10k? 10k? 10k? 10k?

20M is definitely more than $10k. It is a little above $80k (using black market rate, at official rate, it is close to $100k).
Why would I forgo 20M to get a card that only allow me to look for work? It is not a given that you will get work! Or get the work you want! When I can be employer of labour in Nigeria? I read your write up and the fact we humans are all different is reinforced.

This is my 14th year of working in Nigeria and I have access to more than 2M. Am not choosing green card over 20M! Simple. I have projects planned already and that money will accelerate my plans

Exactly! Having earned and saved a few millions in Nigeria during my 2yrs of post NYSC work, I've realised that N20m is nothing in this country. As you said, only those in such shoes may get the picture clearly. it's clearer that those who are saying even N2m is enough are yet to earn money and feel it's real value.
