EbolaParasite:now sex with is illegal because THE KID ISN'T MATURE/OLD ENOUGH TO MAKE HIS/HER OWN DECISION. At the age of 18 everyone is old enough to choose what he or she wants, if the decision ends up hurting you no one cares because it is believed you were mentally strong enough when you chose your path. Which kid is mature enough to choose who she wants to sleep with?? They don't know what's good for them yet that's why they have parents and guidance to lead them till they are mature enough (18 years) So when a kid doesn't know his left from his right why will you take advantage of her and sleep with her claiming she consented to it?? That's bullshitt. This is simply why it's a crime to sleep with people less than 18 because they are considered kids who aren't old enough to make decisions yet |

KingSango:first off i believe you can make an opinion and not necessarily disrespect an opinion at variance with yours ,,in the spirit of human rights that said ,i am not very smart and you have succeeded in confusing me and maybe yourself in your bid to propagate a theory i am the least inclined to believe. whether the free masons and their affiliates is responsible for this societal ill or not is discuss for another day, humanity over the centuries has been assaulted by periods of periods of onslaught from supremacist and guess what , humanity still thrives until this day !!! and until the world ends there will be humanity just as there will always be unholy alliances trying to prey on her . Today we are talking about why America thinks its okay for it to foist on another sovereign state a policy it considers right and why same america doesn't think the other sovereign state has the right to refuse to be compelled to do its bidding. why it is okay for a gay couple to demand of me to bake them a cake and while society must respect the gay couples rights to access my service same society refuses to respect my right to refuse to offer the gay couple my service, simply because my religious leanings frowns at their act and we are talking human rights here right ... the right to ask me for something you want, the right for me to refuse to give you something you want that i have in my possession etc.. there has always been gays and there will always be gays ,there will always be fornicators, polygamist, adulterers, polyandrists pedophiles and what have you..shall they all now begin to agitate for a legalization of their sexual leanings in the spirit of respecting their human rights ? |

kennygee: Your God just said they will pressurise you to accept something and you are here shouting that God won't allow it. I am sure this will be very difficult for you to understand but I don't blame you. You will only accept it when your pastor says so. #pity. As a black, you are very close to animals in reasoning. |

aaronson: The preaching of this evil must be limited to your family whose value system is to adopt white man's culture and jettison yours, so that you will have no story to tell about your existence. emperorchedda: And who says so? Abeg, my grandfather was a polygamous traditional chief and all his wives were happy. It was the norm in their own days. Nobody questioned it. Even in a monogamous marriage, the wife may still be unhappy. So leave that side, abeg. With regards to gays and LGBT folk, do you think their straight parents and siblings are happy? What about bi-sexuals? Do you think their straight partners are happy, when they see them going off with their homosexual buddies? Abeg, happiness is a subjective matter. People should stop using that lame ephemeral emotion as an excuse to justify the 'so-called right's that gay folks are now trying to shove down our throats! Imagine a pastor being victimised for refusing to marry a gay couple. Nonsense! |

HungerBAD: You have a very valid point. But then, the question is; would you allow your son to marry a man? Would you be happy if your brother married a man? How would you feel if your father divorced your mother and then married a man to be your step-mother? Would you be proud to point to your father and say "that's my father" and then point to the man beside him and say "that's my mother?" You might feel you are not affected but then, you are. Everybody is affected. Even if you don't marry a man, how would you explain it to your children that the two "uncles" living in the neighbourhood are husband and wife? The bottom line is: a man should marry a woman and vice-versa. If all men married men and all women married women, we all could have never been born. PS: i hope you do not take offence in me mentioning your father, divorce and son. I only wanted to drive home my point. 3 Likes |

emperorchedda: Guy, stop this your 'happiness' mantra, and look for more solid and compelling reasons. Nothing justifies shoving gay rights, down the throats of Nigerians. For your information, the 1st wife may be unhappy, but the 2nd wife as well as the man, are definitely very happy. So whose happiness matters most? The 1st wife who is in the minority, or the husband and his 2nd wife, who constitute the majority?? 1 Like |

Lol the U.S just wants the anti gay law in Nigeria to be repelled they are not forcing Nigeria to legalise same-sex marriage stop misleading people. Besides if gay marriage is the sign of end time and it has been written in the bible that it must happen then I don't see how anybody can stop it so stop stressing yourselves and start repenting from your sins |

Were you not in Nigeria when the US threatened to withdraw all form of aids from us because the jonathan government signed the anti-gay law against their wish? Here u re like the other haters of GEJ trying to rubbish his legacies. Which ethnic tribe practices homosexualism in Nigeria the most if not people frm the north. Re: US: We’ll Compel Nigeria To Accept Same-sex Marriage by Nobody: 5:36pm On Jul 15, 2015 |
A sensible reasoning to a delicate matter, you nibbed it right at the bud. We all have our personal opinions about people with a different sexual orientation to the norm, in this case it depends on what you define as the norm. No one made anyone a judge of others. People who condemn them and are always eager to incite hate, ask yourselfs what exactly have they done to you? Me, nothing!!! [quote author=HungerBAD post=35878596]The first time i saw two men kissing was in London, specifically at the St James's Park on a cool summer day many years ago. I still remember the shock and revulsion i felt. I stood transfixed, staring at them for about 5 Minutes and was just turning my head around like AM I THE ONLY ONE SEEING this, and then it hit me, i was no longer in Africa and even if i had been living in the US, i was yet to see two men kiss. It was a cultural shock for me to see two men make out. I hated gays. Then one day in Church, at a bible study. Somebody asked the pastor that if the Church preaches a lot of things about repentance and acceptance, why then do they still find it hard to accept gays?the pastor's reply was an eye opener. And then it hit me. Why do i exactly hate gays?they don't bother me, they sleep with each other, they marry each other, they pay their own bills,i don't even know them. As i grow older, i have learned to be very tolerant of others. I have also learned to mind my business with how others handle their lives, that is why i do not judge married women/men when they cheat in their marriages, i am not in their marriage so don't know what lead to the infidelity. While i do have my personal reservation about the gay thing, i have come to accept the fact that my feelings will not stop people from being gays, or stop them from loving each other. i have also come to accept the fact that no matter what, there will be others that will have sexual orientation that is different from mine. In Nigeria, there have been instances where men have been caught making love to goats and chickens. Nairaland even carried some of those pictures. So what am i saying?people should let other people live their lives the way they deem it fit. what you cannot correct, leave alone. |

HungerBAD: I thank God you're straight. Being gay is an anomaly no matter how we see it. If gay should be justified, what about bestiality ? The fact is that people should be made to understand that homosexuality is an aberration of nature. I believe if we do nothing about it, more and more people will become gay. It is contagious. 1 Like 1 Share |
