They are only there because there is no sea port where they are from. Rivers and Calabar ports has been shut down by the Nigerian govt for their own purposes. Not because there is no manpower or resources to manage them, but because they want all import/export traffic to exist where they have firm control ie the western sea coast

The difference between Ojukwu and Buhari is that Ojukwu was never an active participant in any coup in Nigeria. Buhari on the other hand was a major participant of all three coups he was involved in including the one that made him Military head of state. As for seceding, Ojukwu did not manage to secede because he was a Military man. Ojukwu seceded because the easterners besieged him to secede after 40,000 Easterners were slaughtered nationwide. Ojukwu could secede because he had the full backing of his people.
