^^^ Thanks guys.

If you are a very good painter and you think you have a unique idea for this project please let me know.

I was watching a Yoruba film the other day and I saw a unique painting pattern that dropped my jaw.

I really don't want to compromise on the painting because its bring out all the hard works in other areas.

Hello there everyone in the forum. I know a lot of you have been wondering what ever happened to QC-1 project? I'm happy to report that by God'd grace I've been doing the little I can by myself without any professional builders here. I have to confess it's not easy but because of the disappointments ranging from one to another (from a Nairaland home builder contractor), I decided to take it straight to the sub-contractors and take the risk of being the boss. Afer all, it's my money. angry

I will like to thanks some guys here for their inspirations. Spyder880 - for inspiring me and others with your wonderful and beautiful works that goes with superb transparency. I wish you will work in Lagos, May you never lack!

Lawyer- for being the mods that stand for fairness on this forum, May God bless you bro!

mufutau55 - For your divine maturity and peace keeping. May God continue to show you favors.

others- you know thyself, thank you all. I love you.

Brilliant idea. On a build of this magnitude you should easily save a million which you can then pour into the edifice. It really is not that difficult to be a general contractor on a house build save for Nigerians unique situation.

Congrats and good luck.

YES!!! I am very happy to see the accomplishments on this project. You have been doing good and well for yourself.
Most of the time one has to take over his own destiny and I am glad you have realized this... It's not how far, but how well.
Only a fool will not learn by his/her mistake... and with every disappointment, comes blessing... You have been blessed.
And if I can help with any Contractor's recommendation, just let me know, we have so many good and some not so good here.
As I know you are a very strong religious man, just keep your faith in God and everything will be well.. Stay blessed.
Thank you.

Congrats sir. But to be forewarned is to be foreharmed. It will end in praise.

Give my regards to Brabus when you hear from him.

Thank you bro, I would be dishonest to say that I ever thought for any second that it will be easy. I mean... Spyder880 made it look that way though! I still suggest one should seek for technical supervision where need be.

@Jamesqu, Yes, you always say it.... "The Package". I am also more careful nowadays... 'cause my recommendations has got me into much trouble.
But then, we all fall into traps sometimes...by trying to give other people second chance. But we just thank God QC-1 has not sunk too deep.

@Hajj. Mufutau what made it even worse was my recommendations to others. One of them kept me updated on how bad dude wanna quit and leave the job uncompleted after being paid everything up front. I can only hope he will forgive me for the referral.

True, I feel you on that. When I recommend a contractor or a Client, I am laying my reputation on the line... and my reputation is my name.
After a friend's house was messed-up, I had to arrange for another contractor to fix it right... costing extra more money but my friend understood that I did not do it on bad intention.. I am glad the new contractor was able to get everything right. So, I am now more careful in recommending any Contractor and even Clients (my tagline below was changed because of that). But still we thank God.

I once told that fear can either make you afraid or focus. It's your choice to choose which side you want, however, if you decided on the later then fear itself will fear you.

There comes a time when you'll just get tired of it all, that might be the right time to take the bold steps.

May the Lord help you through my brother. Don't worry it is well IJN.
