Maxymilliano:I hope we can keep this civil Please watch the numbers. 1. That is the point the OP was trying to make really. Yes there has been some efforts to revamp the refineries but how sincere have they been? Another question we need to ask if that how come it took so long for the TAM to be done when we have been promised this since 2012 when the subsidy issue came up? Why has there been so much beating around the bush? So it too almost 4 years to do TAM on 4 refineries? Dangote is building a 650,000 BPD refinery in Lagos and it is not going to take 4 years. Remember that 2. If you agree that the problems facing the refineries are not that serious then you also have to agree that the NNPC has been lying to the country including to the senate committee (which is a crime. I might be wrong though). If the problems of the refineries are not so serious, we have been led to believe that the refineries are not functional possibly because that will lower their cost(remember the last government tried to sell then but labor fought them) so they can be bought at cheap rates by their friends and/or they were making so much money from the subsidies that they were just comfortable to allow them rot. From all angles, this does not look good 3. You say Buhari has not contributed to the refineries in anyway but vandalism had reduced. You yourself say crude theft has reduced. Is this a result of the new administration of did the vandals and thieves just decide to have a change of heart? Because he said he did not contribute to the revamping of the refineries but he has reduced crude theft and vandalism so the crude gets to the refineries, then that is work within 2 months which "The people's hero could not do for +5 years) |

Image123:Why allow your BASELESS hatred of Jonathan make you expose your inadequacies ![]() The newspapers you quoted up till end of 2013 talked about PLANS to spend, not so? How did plans TO spend suddenly change to money actually spent in your twisted mind ![]() Please let me remind you that Buhari himself acknowledged Jonathan's TRANSFORMATIVE work on the refineries. Gej would have commissioned the refineries before going out of office if he was truly responsible for the repairs. I think the fear of GmB brought out the best from the people responsible. |

[s] wecan:[/s] What ever that happens under Buhari's administration is his responsibility. Wailers like you will be quick to attribute any sad incidence that occurs as a result of the Failure Jonathan left behind to Buhari. But will deny him praise for any good news in his tenure. When you are done insulting yourself, go find something useful and do with your life. #Wailers. |

Maxymilliano:The OP and the rest of us who share his view have not claimed that PMB did anything with the refineries. If anything, PMB's statement is further indictment on Jonathan and his fellow thieving cohorts. If PMB hasn't done anything with the refineries yet, and GEJ didn't do anything apart from promising and shifting dates, why did the refineries REFUSE to work? Answer: sabotage brought about by penchant to corruptly enrich the oil cabals. |

IS this how desperate APC fans can be? Buhari their master has stated that he has no hand in the revival of the refinery's and yet they are still trying to attribute him with the revival even when the man has made it known that it is not his handwork and he has nothing to do with it. You guys keep writing trash up and down without telling us who is responsible for the revival of the refinery's. Buhari who is just 2 month in power has fixed refinery's and power but cant fix boko haram, Clap for yourselves, ewu |

I still don'tw why u people keep harassing jonathan. If he didn't fix d refineries then who did? Did buhari do it in 2months? We all know that by may 29 the refineries were almost ready to start working. U people can twist and turn it whichever way u want but until u guys bring proof that jonathan didn't do anything at d refinery and also proof that buhari did then u guys r just being pathetic. Even buhari that u guys keep saying he did d work has come out to say that he can't take credit for the refineries. Let jona be. |

The reason nigeria is a s.tupid place is because of people like dis thread starter. I don't even know where to start correcting u cuz ur stupidity is on d high side n ur very confused... First, buhari has said openly on NTA that he has no hand in the TAM of the refineries, why try to credit it to him. Secondly it takes 5 years to build a new refinery. Thirdly GEJ started a project called green field oil initiative (or sth like that) to build 3 refineries in lagos, bayelsa n Kogi(i think), it's on going now and u can't confirm it except u travel around, abeg go n see tinz for urself n stop disgracing ur family. I guess ur from s waste...d people who remain in s waste for their whole lives witout even stepping out n yet claim dat they know d whole nigeria, I wander hw u can know nigeria from being online. Finally, GEJ is a great man, let nigerians Alwz remember dis, 33 percent of all the federal universities in nigeria was built by him, it took d whole former presidents in nigeria 50 years to build abt 24 fed skols, but it took gej 4 years to build abt 12 universities... GEJ, our modern hero. |

PassingShot:This is one thing they don't get. He has not been involved in the refineries working and yet they are coning to life. This just raises the suspicion that the refineries were not (as badly) defective as reported. It means people just decided that the refineries should not work for reasons best known to their pockets |

Nothing you say will change the mind of those who have sworn to be "anti-buhari". They will always find a wayto make it Buhari's fault. They have no brain to comprehend the obvious! |
