I used form A. The bank requires your admission letter. I never got an invoice from my school. I just paid the deposit and sent the info to my school and they included it on my cas.. I hope that helps.

Thank you for your reply. Please what Bank did you use? I just left GTB now and I was told that I need to get an invoice or bill from the school.

I used UBA. They didn't require any invoice. All they asked for was that I print out the bank information for the school's account. They assumed that it was sent to me but I told them it was just placed on their website. So I had to print that page and submitted that with other documents needed. Hope that helped. Also my admission letter had a second page with the cost of my tuition fee stated.

I have realized that GTB is trying to be a troublesome bank.

hello house. when filling the online visa application form, there is a section called family details. do I need to write all the information requested about my spouse and parents even though I am going alone? they also request for my spouse's passport number which is not available cos she doesn't have one. the space also has an asterisk which shows I have to fill it. please advise me on how to fill this section. thank you!

Kuka fill all they have asked for. They require this whether your spouse is travelling with u or not same with ur folks. These are standard visa questions
@petitediva i agree with you on GTB they are being quite annoying these days...will see if i can use my Zenith account ( its a corporate acct hope thats allowed)

if you can't get an invoice from your school, then what you can actually do is print any page containing the details of your school and amount to be paid.
CBN rules wants to know that the money is actually meant for schooling issues that's the reasoning.

Also you can request a letter from your school tell them to reflect your name, details and exact amount to be paid. it may be addressed to whom it may concern. but on your school logo.
Tell them its part of your countries forex monetary policy.

Bitilola maybe you should email them? That sounds long for Abuja.

Please who has the email address for UKVI.

Thank you for yyour input. All these info are on the offer letter. I sent a mail to my account officer and she confirmed that I do not need an invoice or bill, so i'll go back to the branch and give them a piece of my mind. If they refuse i'll use Union Bank.

Most of the staff don't even know what they are doing. Imagine Bankers telling me COT is N3 in 2015, one even said she was not sure. I just shook my head in disgust. Imagine if I was a mystery shopper, they would have received their sack or caution letters before EOD.

Honestly o. Imagine a FBN official telling me that for a transaction of $4000 I would pay almost 13k as charges for the transfer. Meanwhile the charges should not be more than 7k max. She made the bank lose my transaction and subsequent ones I would carry out because she could not get the right info. Sometimes I wonder if they don't undergo training. Some are totally clueless!!!

Savings. To show how annoying GTB is becoming, they insisted on having a current account to do the bank transfer......#nonsense!!

I am happy someone has witnessed how clueless, uninformed and mannerless ''almost'' all bank staff are. Sometimes I wonder what kind of training they get after employment.

Hello house, my sister applied to a school in the UK and she got the admission. She has paid the school fees and done everything required including the visa application (tier 4) which was done last week. She received an email from VISAINFO.SHEFO@fco.gov.uk which states this. We are all confused. Please advise.

"Dear -------

Regarding Visa Application: ----------
For: -----------

Your online application has been received in Sheffield, UK. Your application is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer.

Please note that if you have lodged your Settlement application in the Caribbean region or Nigeria you must ensure that your UK sponsor has sent all relevant supporting documentation to the visa section in Sheffield. We will not start to assess your application until we are in receipt of these.

Please note that UKVI aims to complete all Visit Visa applications within 15 working days and all Settlement Visa applications within 12 weeks of the application date. If it is not possible to complete your application within this timeframe a member of our team will contact you to explain why.

If you have paid for Priority Service, your application will be placed in front of the queue and assessed ahead of other non-priority visa applications. As indicated in the terms of service, the amount paid for the priority service, as well as the visa fees, is not refundable if the visa application is refused or if the decision is delayed.

We regret that we are unable to respond to enquiries asking about the status of any application. Staff at Embassies, visa processing centres and visa application centres cannot assist with visa enquiries. You may also wish to view the current processing times for applications made in your country.

A further email will be sent to you to confirm when your application has been assessed and dispatched. If your application was made in a Visa Application Centre, the staff there will contact you when your documents are ready – please do not attend the Centre until you are requested to do so."

It simply means her application has reached the deciding authority and is being processed, she will be contacted when a decision has been made, nothing to worry about everyone gets this same email.

Go online and check megabus operates this service tried it once and it was an amazing experience and it costs a fraction of flight costs, for domestic flights you are only allowed one bag and i assumed you will be coming with a lot of luggages so you have to factor excess luggage charges as well but with train or the sleeper service your luggages are free. Bottom line every penny saved counts ...

Please I have been looking up online for the most optimal options for transportation enroute Aberdeen. I booked via Qatar Airways for $540 (#110,000) to London. I am yet to conclude the booking via the sleeper train from either London Bridge or Euston. I would be leaving London Friday 4th Sept. to arrive Aberdeen in the early hours of Saturday 5th.

Please can you help me with the site I am to use for the booking as am a lil confused as to whether is just a day time train or night I've been seeing from my search online. www.sleeper.scot and www.thetrainline.com I opted for the sleeper train experience. I saw £40, £80 and £160 on various time schedule.
Kindly help look up for bookings on the said date and guide me pls.

I don't mind if the cost is more compared to flight from London to Aberdeen as I seek a new adventure via the sleeper train idea and considering I can take any Kg of luggage FOC.

Thanks a lot.

http://uk.megabus.com/seat-selection.aspx?items=57076773&search=%2fJourneyResults.aspx%3foriginCode%3d56%26destinationCode%3d1%26outboundDepartureDate%3d04%252f09%252f2015%26inboundDepartureDate%3d%26passengerCount%3d1%26transportType%3d-1%26concessionCount%3d0%26nusCount%3d0%26outboundWheelchairSeated%3d0%26outboundOtherDisabilityCount%3d0%26inboundWheelchairSeated%3d0%26inboundOtherDisabilityCount%3d0%26outboundPcaCount%3d0%26inboundPcaCount%3d0%26promotionCode%3d%26withReturn%3d0
Check this link, not sure if it's a sleeper train or bus but it has bunks, also the baggage allowance might not be suitable for you. I already did the search just click on continue if you're interested or try searching again, I hope it helps.

Congratulations
Is it true that the validation of the visa is exactly the course's duration (i.e exactly 1year for MSc, exactly 3years for PhD) ??
