@usqoh, geobukky and other geoscientists, try to apply. PTDF has mandated oil companies to employ only Nigerians. Successfuls wil be posted to oil and gas companies. Easiest way to get oil and gas job is this.

Similarly, engineers too will be trained as previously advertised for them here

PTDF GEOSCIENCES TRAINING PROGRAMME (GTP)

The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) is the Federal Government’s Agency mandated to build capacities in the Nigerian oil and gas industry. The Fund has over the years developed and implemented several programmes to meet identified human resource requirements to enhance the active participation of Nigerians in the industry.

In furtherance of the attainment of its mandate, the Fund wishes to commence the Geosciences Training Programme (GTP) designed to increase local capacities for geosciences knowledge, application and analytical skills in the oil and gas industry. This initiative entails the training of Nigerian graduates of geology or geosciences at the Laser Petroleum Geosciences Centre in Port Harcourt for effective participation in the industry’s upstream sector activities to enhance Nigerian Content Development. The GTP is of 5 months duration.

Further to the above, the Fund hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates who meet the following requirements:

A minimum of first degree in geology and geosciences ONLY

A minimum of second class lower degree

Must have completed the National Youth service Corps (NYSC)

Must not be above 30 years of age

Must be computer literate

Must be available to undertake a 6 months Post Training Attachment Programme

Must attach all credentials/documents while submitting application

Candidates are to note that only those who meet the requirements would be short listed and invited for the training programme.

The required documents to be uploaded are;

O’ level, WAEC or NECO results,

First degree and /or MSc. certificate

NYSC discharge certificate

Evidence of date of birth or age declaration

Evidence of State of origin

Passport photograph

Candidates must also provide their Contact phone numbers and email addresses.

The Fund will sponsor only a limited number of Trainees for the programme.

Candidates who do not meet the above conditions NEED NOT APPLY.

Tried it again today... It's delivered... My guess is that d email address was configured to receive in a specific time range or has a daily limit of messages it takes..

maybe i will try again tomorrow. I just did it now and it's still the same. I used yahoo, gmail and I had to open an aol account just to try it, they all returned delivery failures. it's frustrating, dunno what's the big deal in having a secure email address

I googled the error it was sending back and found a solution. I doubt the one you sent delivered. I am using my PC with a ffast internet connection. This is the solution I got. I have sent it and it delivered. Open a Microsoft email account, get it verified and then send it with it. It went once and I didn't get any delivery failure messages.

Am using Microsoft...and Dat yesterday it wasn't going.... Today I used the android app, but I'll advice Dat u send with d mail u used in registering Dat Google form.... Na hin gangan b d application... Wen dy are searching mail to verify the documents u summit they will b searching for the mail u put in d form dats d only way dy can tie d data together... My thoughts tho

Microsoft outlook won't go unless you verify your account. I used my outlook to send it and it went with no delivery failure response. I included the mail I used at the google doc in the outlook mail and also phone numbers, since they asked for both. Also the handle of both the yahoomail and outlook are the same. Abi, wetin man go do.....both yahoo and gmail no deliver.....it was programme to receive emails from verified sources....the reasons it's rejecting it is cos the mails from yahoo and gmail appear like spam or junk emails

.aiit... Bt I will advice u kip trying it my friend used his Gmail and did not have issues... Cos an average person looking at the applications won't b looking inside each mail to check ur email wen he/she can just search hin inbox with the mail u registered esp in dis case wia asked us to send mail jes to see our docs to crosscheck data... By d way who knows if there is test or shortlisting straight... Like can anyone wu has once gone thru d process enlighten us
